Yep! I was a little surprised by the name myself. I'm pretty sure it refers to the turtle being slow, thus late, i.e. tardy. Friendly Frog is also sold out!

Did anyone ever watch the show 'Greg the Bunny'? I loved that show and was so sad it was canceled. Tardy the Turtle was my favorite:

I saw Pillow Pets at Peebles (recently) in the kids section in the back of the store. Also, seen them at BJ's awhile back. Can't recall if they had the turtle but you could probably phone them in advance to save a trip.
BTW, Peebles had an ad in the paper, 20% off all purchases until 12/20, with coupon.
The base NEX had pillow pets, too, and they had some of the harder to find ones -- like the penguin, which I had not seen anyplace else.
Those pillow pets are cute and are the "snuggie" of the season, or so it seems!
I believe you can order them online, as well. Good luck!

I much prefer to snuggle with the petite ladies who take care of the animals. They're usually a little loopy, but WILD in bed.

I think the bee is cute -- the frog is way cute.
The "unicorn" is NOT cute unless you like the look of an odd-equestrian creature that appears to have a major glandular problem. Unicorns cannot be puffy like pillows. A penguin can --- a unicorn --- not so much.
