Thats why we loaded that dog into the car and went to a gravel pit. The dog just dissapeared. Now this was a friendly dog, except to a cat. It was always death for the cat.
Yes, but buy a shotgun as aiming will be a lot better in the heat of the moment... use slugs, not shot or you will risk hitting your dog.
Even though I gave the legal response earlier, I keep a loaded .22 ready to go in the closet - I have 18 shots to get it right. The shotgun is right around the corner ready to go.
If I get charged, I have been "coached" on what to say.![]()
Just because you agree w/ her doesnt mean it is right. The first time the dog came in her yard and attacked her animal... yes she could have shot it.
But to just pick up the animal (basically steal the dog) and take it some where, shoot it, & bury it because she was THINKING she might wanna another cat and was scared that the animal MIGHT attack that cat is wrong.
When I was in HS a black lab attacked me and my friend riding our bikes. It bit her on the leg and chased us all the way home. My father killed the dog with one shot gun blast. Cops were gonna charge him, but we managed to talk our way out of the charge. That was many moons ago though.
I'm on your side - I'm still not seeing how two wrongs made a right on this.
And I disagree. It was not wrong. A dog that has already killed one of my pets sets foot in my yard again, it's disappears. The end.Just because you agree w/ her doesnt mean it is right. The first time the dog came in her yard and attacked her animal... yes she could have shot it.

What kind of shot gun doesn't have a lot of kick for a newbie?
Yes, because it attacked a human - attacking another pet is considered property damage.
So you took advantage of the dogs friendliness, called it over, maybe lured it with a few treats then off to the gravel pit y'all went for execution? Meanwhile dog probalby wagging tail thinking -- "goody!! ride!! goody!!"![]()

Where the hell did you come up with this crap???So you took advantage of the dogs friendliness, called it over, maybe lured it with a few treats then off to the gravel pit y'all went for execution? Meanwhile dog probalby wagging tail thinking -- "goody!! ride!! goody!!"![]()
They were going to charge him with discharging a firearm in a residential neighborhood. They didn't care he killed the dog.
Just don't get caught.
You betcha! And Id do it again. Bash me all you want, I did it for my baby, both the dead one and the future one. So there.
NONONO. This dog was always in my yard after it killed my cat. I had AC pick it up at least 4 times. I never said it was right, I feel like sh!t to this day and beg the Lords forgiveness everyday for what I did. And I believe God has forgiven me. I only did it to give Barney a chance at a long life. The guy had ample opportunity to save his dog.

If the dog was so vicious, how did they get it in their vehicle or get it to the place of execution?

Or admitt it on SOMD.COM![]()
I like you BD, I do. I'm just having a hard time following this. You have gone from a sanctimonious stance to a remorseful and repentant stance. Personally I'm a little confused. I am sorry for your cat. However, I'm also sorry for the neighbor's dog too.
