And dont give me any of this boo hoo crap about pets and kids are different. They are my kids.

C'mon bailey, I love my pets too, but I know there's a helluva difference between a pet and a human child. If you can't see that you're crazy.

Im sorry to say it was premeditated. It was several months ongoing. First the doog kept coming around and Id call the pound and the next day it was back. finally after a couple months, we said next time it comes here, its dead. But the next time she showed up, she was pregnant. No way was I going to do that. So I waited, she had her pups, kept coming in my yard. I waited till I was sure the pups were good and weaned (and yes I gave it plenty of time, extra time) and the next time she came back we took her out.

you got it in your car, you could've just as easily drove it to animal control or the pound. At least that way it had a chance to put down in a humane way if it was "so vicious".

So did the owners post up missing dog posters or come asking if you ever saw it again?

They're all ignoring her posts where she said she called AC (4) times and nothing was done. People have their limits and frankly, I wouldn't have called them (4) times before I took action. I think she was rather patient.

On further thought, I have a big yard and it always annoys me when kids cut through the yard, or other people put signs in the yard, and when people think that big arse yard mows itself and walks their dogs through like it's a park.

This thread has enlightened me. I'm going to shoot them all. Dogs, children, adults, everybody and everything. Afterall, they come into my yard. They could be a danger to me in the future. Does anybody know a gravel pit I can use?

I watched that dog grab my cat and shake it to death before I could get to him. And his owner just stood there watching and holding the leash that wasnt on his dog.

I did this once long ago. A pit killed my cat, the guy paid, end of story? right, wrong. This dog was always coming in my yard, and I wanted to get another kitten but couldnt because I knew this damn dog would kill it.
..and post 43. I'll brb with that one...

Certainly not the owner of the pet that was kidnapped and murdered, or the children that wonder what happened to their beloved family member.

Couldn't have been too beloved or they wouldn't have let him roam the neighborhood killing cats.

If the dog had already come into her yard and killed her pet, and AC wouldn't do anything about it, and the owners wouldn't keep their dog contained, sorry - bye bye, doggie, and I don't blame Bailey one bit.

And Nomo, a shot to the head is very humane, as far as animal deaths go. Quicker and more peaceful than the death the dog inflicted on her cat, for sure.

I totally understand. Had it been my dog attacked, the other dog would never have left my property. But to wait MONTHS?! That's crazy.

It took so many months because I tried going the legal route with ac. Then she was pregnant then nursing but all the while she kept coming to my house.

If my cat is on your property and it happens, its my fault. No foul for the dog but this damn dog was ALWAYS in my yard with no leash. So I dont feel as I was wrong. I could of never had another cat with that dog alive. Did I mention that I had the dog picked up by AC 4 times in 2 months. This guy would go pay 25.00 and get his dog back.

No kidding. This dog was so vicious... yet she managed to load it in her car and drive w/ it how many miles to her friends home w/ out it mauling her or her friend. Sorry not adding up for me.

I dont care how many times she called the police or AC. That is THEIR job to decide if the animal is a danger to others and euthanize it. Not hers.

The exact situation that happened to Somdgirl happened to my aunts dog. After the 2nd attack AC decided the dog was a danger to other animals and humans and put it down.

That was fun, but let's get real for a minute:

Some teenage kid keeps coming in your yard. One day, this teenager kills your roommate or whoever. And now you're going to...what? Still sit there while the teenager comes into your yard whenever he pleases?

Because THAT scenario is comparative to what happened with the dog. Bailey wasn't guessing that the dog would kill her cat - the dog had already demonstrated that it would kill cats.

Pay attention, people:

SHE ALREADY SAID THAT THE DOG WASN'T VICIOUS TO HUMANS, JUST CATS.

Try to keep up.
