Fair 'nuff. So let me ask you... If Bob were on life support and a quack doctor wanted to pull the plug on him you'd allow him to choose life or death over your husband?

It's really wonderful how you can determine just who is logical and who is illogical by my 22 word post. That's fine. I'll just mark this up to the illogic of those who are pro-choice.

I don't know anyone advocating forcing childbirth on anyone. I do not now nor have I ever suggested that people should go out and have sex to fill this void for other people. No, pretty much stop using the 'there are so many people out there looking to adopt a baby' agrument that a lot of pro-lifers use. The point is there are lots of kids out there that are looking to be adopted so forcing childbirth in order to fill this 'void' in lack of kids to be adopted.
We're talking abortion choice here, I'm looking for babies - under a few months old, the ones that are comparable to the baby being killed as an option instead of having it and giving it up for adoption.16 percent of adopted children under 18 in the United States are black. Seven percent of adopted children are Asian, and two percent are American Indian and Alaska native.
That is a total of 25 percent... That means to me that the other 75% looks awfully white....
Still looking for better stats but have yet to come up with anything substantial.

But, if one should choose to go out and have sex, the consequences of that are pretty clear to anyone who does it willingly. Therefore, if they're looking for choices, they have many
- Don't have sex if you're not going to be willing to go full term with a pregnancy from it
- Be willing to raise the child from your sexual experience
- Know that there is a demand for your baby from good parents wishing to adopt
It's just a list of choices available (that would obviously not include "kill your child, pre-birth or post-birth")
- Know whether you would have the support of family and friends to aid you in raising a child yourself
I applaud you for breaking it down to the actual argument of abortion, but I'm curious why you have this stance. I asked Go-G earlier at what stage he thinks this life becomes a life, and he said second trimester (though the question as to "why then" went unanswered). At what stage do you think this life becomes a life, and not something comparable to a tumor? And I don't think a bunch of cells that is not in and of itself a viable being a baby.
I know this is not to me but do you want my personal opinion from my experience being pregnant or what I believe the legal defination should be?I applaud you for breaking it down to the actual argument of abortion, but I'm curious why you have this stance. None, I've been too busy raising the family I chose to have, taking care of my own responsibilities. How many babies have you adopted T_P?
You mean, like every natural death is investigated as a murder? Or, are you just trying to stir the pot with dishonest questions?just curious
also, are you cool with every miscarriage being investigated as murder one?
Who have miscarriages, or abortions once they're illegal?
also, no more in vitro fertilization. Guess they can just adopt hehe
We've discussed the IVF quite a bit before. As I say, those fertilized eggs that do not become babies are more like miscarriages than abortions, or like when a doctor tries to save (make) a life and fails. That's not murder, that's unfortuante.death penalty for girls who have them?
so we got the virgin, and the man who was scorned in agreement about what the rest of us should do
Andy, when you grow up you will realize that people have sex more often than not, with the intention of NOT making a baby. If those people get pregnant and decide to have an abortion it is NONE of your business, it doens't affect your life in any way.....
Of course! That's the whole point of the discussion - respectful (from most of us) exchange of ideas.I know this is not to me but do you want my personal opinion from my experience being pregnant or what I believe the legal defination should be?
I 100% agree with you.
