BTW, I did call the police, and they informed me that there is nothing they can do about it. I can't just sit on my ass and hope that if someone does come after my family, the police will believe us then.

Don't forget to inform the police that since you will be handling the threat without their assistance, you have full intention of annihilating said threat if it appears on your doorstep. That normally gets their attention.

It's funny you said that. When my dad was talking to the sergeant that mom used to work for, he was like "what do you mean there is nothing you can do? fine...I'll take care of it myself"

It got his attention, but all he did was try and talk my dad out of it.

What he did walk away with is the sergeant did report the call and said that if anything did happen and my dad had to defend himself, it's on record that he received this call. So I guess it helps in my dads defense.

So

If I were to make up something like this I sure as heck wouldn't have posted my real name and my fathers name - not to mention the area we both reside in. I believe him. It's always good to get it in writing and have as many witnesses as possible.....why not do that in a forum?

Was that dumb? I mean my sn is tjstalcup....and those that know me on here know that's my real name.

The whole point of this thread was for ppl that live in the Hollywood Shores area to keep a look-out for anything suspicious.

If you do live in the shores and want to know what road they live on PM me. All it takes is casually driving down the road they live on. If this guy is hanging out at their house, maybe the more traffic that's around will deter him from at least attempting it at the house, where my 2 brothers, 1 sister and my mom live.

This would mean that the guy would have to attempt something at my dad's work, which is in the middle of downtown alexandria on duke street.

Call me crazy, this was a crazy idea, but where else should I have gone to?

A personal walk to alert the neighbors to keep an eye out probably would have done more good, and been less aggrivating than posting it here, on a forum that 3 counties worth of ppl use and abuse on a regular basis.

Don't give the neighbors any specifics. You don't want to scare them. Just inform them that there was an incident recently invoving your family that has at a minimum, partial police involvement and you need them to be aware of unfamiliar vehicles and people in the area and to please report it.
