It seems that every time a cop shoots someone, no matter what the outcome of the case is, there will be those who will still bash the cops. They were acquitted, found innocent. Am I happy an unarmed man was killed? Of course not. My heart goes out to his family and especially his fiancee.
But guess what? If a cop tells me to stop, I'll have the common sense to stop, hands in the air and all. These types of shootings have happened all too often because people don't listen to an officer's command. For those of you who have never been to the ghettos of New York (and yes, there are a lot of them!), I would love for you to go on a ride-along with the NYPD on any night of the week. I guarantee that you'd be more understanding of what they go through on a daily basis. They are in hell every day and I wouldn't do their job no matter what they offered to pay me.
