well what she stated before she deleted the thread was that she was going to ignore mike and bays comments and do her best to rehome him. then she deleted the thread in the hopes it would all go away.
not saying you are wrong, just saying what it looks like from the outside.

I did no such thing.

Ok I would like to point out two things here...

Mike you get the dog for protection, it protects the yard? So you give it up....I am sure that makes sense somewhere...
So, you have the dog for FOUR weeks and I will guess your wife figures out she can't handle the dog so you up and put him out....after FOUR weeks

It wouldnt have mattered if it were 4 weeks or 2 years, I am sure you would have been one of the 1st people to offer money along with all the others on this board to help with vet, hospital or being sued. RIGHT!

You would have all scowered in your corner thinking wow, what a bad dog.

Sorry I was not going to wait until that happened.

Where did I ever say they lied? Where did I ever say that I didn't respect their decision? All I said was that I was angry that they didn't notify us that he was back at the shelter or, after the first incident, let us know there was a problem.

I deleted the thread because you argue for sport and it is not productive and you don't know what you're talking about. You have absolutely NO knowledge of this dog.

that is BS....

i never claimed to have knowledge of this dog. I claim only to have read what the last owner has said about the dog, and what you have said and claimed and done here.

And just because a dog wasn't aggressive with its previous owners doesn't mean it won't be aggressive with the new ones. My ex and I inherited a German Shepherd when we bought our first house. He was a baby guy with the other family, so they said and I had no reason to doubt them, but he was extremely territorial and cornered me twice, and lunged after one of the kids, before I called them and told them to come get him.

They acted all put out and tried to convince me to give him more time. I told them come get him or he was going to the pound. Can't take the chance on that stupid dog hurting one of us while he was "settling in".

So, anyway, just because the dog wasn't aggressive with Catt or JWWB doesn't mean it wasn't aggressive with Mike and Bay Kat.

So what kind of protection did you want from the dog? Really?

One that protects what he thinks is his?

revising history is easy when you have deleted what really happened isn't it

At this point I wouldnt waste my breath. Those who read the original information from my wife and I know what was said and then the blog was erased.

For those who support our decision, thanks

for those who do not :ohwell:

It's not really gone.

Using a term "stated" is pretty specific. I never said I was ignorning BayKat and Mike's posts.

You are ignoring the owner's story that had him for two years.

You believe about me what you will, I don't care.

No she didn't

I'm sure someone could give this dog a good home, if they were willing to give up their lives to train it and make it feel comfortable. But the shelter is right to warn potential adopters that the dog may have a problem with other animals, especially after Mike and Bay Kat's experience with it.

And I am more than willing to take him back. I never said I didn't want him back if things did not work out.

The first time PC did this, I just wish they would have given me a call. If they had doubts about keeping him, I would have taken him back then as well.

Thats really kind of a stupid thing to say. Mily is a wonderful protector in the fact that she will jump at the door, windows, etc and bark her ass off at whatever is on the other side. She's a total cupcake with people but she doesn't come across that way looking from the outside in.

I agree. But it seems to me, that the dog was protecting and they took it as overly agressive. I still have yet to see anything other than that "issue"

Animal aggression and protection are different things entirely. Mily is animal aggressive and has a strong prey drive. When she attacked MK's dog she wasn't protecting anything, she was being a bia. It's a trait I've chose to accept and deal with.

Poor Chubs... She tolerates males to a degree and is just kind of bossy. Girls she wants nothing to do with. Gotta be queen B. She gets it honestly. :diva:

Funny, two of mine know "time out" very well.

Mily puts herself in timeout. If I find her in her crate on her own accord I look around for the crap or whatever she ate. She's a vindictive crapper but will put herself in timeout right after. She ain't right. :lmao:
