Maybe you could pm catt or KK rather than try to post something nice on the boards. It appears people like to take a positive and make it into a negative.
good idea. Thanks

My daugther is familar with boxers and will be taking care of him. The only thing I am worried about is that we do have one dog..so I am wondering if we could introduce the two a little at a time for them to get used to each other.
I see your point about the shuffling but it has got ot be better than being in a shelter...maybe...
Is there a way to bring your dog in first to meet the other at the shelter? I have no idea I never adpoted from tri before
I didn't post it in the open. He's doing good. Happened about two weeks ago. A few vet bills, some stitches, he's all good. Thanks for asking.
Our group is picking him tonight and going back to jwwwb for a while.
You can contact us about becoming a foster at 240-925-0628 or 301-904-0653. katmc@secondhoperescue.org.
thanks
No, I see her point..from the sounds of it PC has been shuffled a lot.
Okay, well, my dog passed his temperament test, too, then proceeded to bite the neighbor kids and go after other animals. Just because a dog passes a test in a controlled environment doesn't mean he's a safe dog.
Sorry.
If you aren't familiar with Boxers and their high energy levels, not to mention their aggressive traits (that Boxer owners think of as normal) then don't get the dog - he doesn't deserve to be shuffled to another home that doesn't work out.
and you all can piss and moan all you want.
the previous owner obviosly had more than one problem with the dog. if you want to adopt him knowing full well that he is agressive towards other dogs, then that is great. but handing him off again to someone who is unsuspecting is just wrong.
or weak, or scared, or not being able to be the alpha male......

Or if you don't like stinky farts, slobber, lots of kisses and a wiggle.
How do you fkg know what Jwwwbs private life is about to speculate she got rid of PC because of some problem with the dog. I know her k? I know what happened and why she had to get rid of PC!
LISTEN CAREFULLY AZZHAT!
IT WASN'T BECAUSE SHE HAD ISSUES NOR DID ANYONE ELSE WITH PC!
Did you hear me? Like I said, you really need to STFU and go find another thread to start ####.
Not true. One of my females and male are big baby's. All they want to do is lick you. Wouldn't hurt a fly.
Don't get one if you don't have the time to take them out or a place to let them run. It's not their fault they have this energy.
When they come bounding up and knock you down in an attempt to be friendly, that is not a good dog. That is an aggressive dog who hasn't been trained properly.
Boxer people vs. the rest of the world. When people talk about aggressive dogs, they're talking about dogs that are being mean. I would not consider the dog you just described to be aggressive...obnoxious/hyper, mabye, but not aggressive.
