and if she hadn't deleted it she could easily prove it, oh but then the stories from the most recent owner would still be there......

seriously, i only care because i think it is wrong when people who think of themselves as rescuers do not disclose information like this. If this dog had gone back to catt or jww i seriously doubt either would have told the potential adopters about mike and bay's experience. It is a good thing that they took him back to the pound like JWW was supposed to do according to her contract with them. Now he is properly labeled and any potential owner will at least have all the information

:blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah::blahblah:

You must like to hear yourself talk. You have no facts. Why don't you just STFU!

and what about the previous owners responsibilty to take the dog back to the shelter? they had a contract, a contract that was in place to avoid exactly this situation, where an agressive, or otherwise disfuntional dog, is handed off to various unsuspecting families until it hurts someone or kills an animal......

Once I explained this to Tri County, after I called them, they understood why I did what I did and not bringing him back up there to become depressed and grrrrrrrrrr because he did not like being in that kennel.

If that was the case then why is Tri adopting him out again if they felt him to be a threat?

That was why I did not take him back up there to begin with. I wanted to find him a suitable home without him having to go through being in a kennel, on a cold concrete floor, and a lot of dogs barking all the time.

FYI: They did all of his temp tests and he passed, even with other DOGS. He is NOT a threat and is NOT deamed as such.

FYI - Pork Chop passed his temp test without any problems with food or other DOGS....

Okay, well, my dog passed his temperament test, too, then proceeded to bite the neighbor kids and go after other animals. Just because a dog passes a test in a controlled environment doesn't mean he's a safe dog.

Sorry.

How much is it to adopt PC? What does someone have to do foster him?

A dog act according to enviroment in most cases. We have room, maybe we can help out.

If you aren't familiar with Boxers and their high energy levels, not to mention their aggressive traits (that Boxer owners think of as normal) then don't get the dog - he doesn't deserve to be shuffled to another home that doesn't work out.

My daugther is familar with boxers and will be taking care of him. The only thing I am worried about is that we do have one dog..so I am wondering if we could introduce the two a little at a time for them to get used to each other.

I see your point about the shuffling but it has got ot be better than being in a shelter...maybe...

Is there a way to bring your dog in first to meet the other at the shelter? I have no idea I never adpoted from tri before

Maybe you could pm catt or KK rather than try to post something nice on the boards. It appears people like to take a positive and make it into a negative.
