Dayum if you didn't make me remember an episode of Emergency where a woman stuck her big toe up the faucet in her bathtub and couldn't get it out. How in the world did she call 911? We didn't have cell phones or cordless back then.

The kid lives out here in the 7th. The priest at the church of my youth used to have a brown one. Our church youth group used it as a parade float for MD's 350th celebration in 84.

When did they change that over? It seems like yesterday, but it wasn't. :bawl:

The first time I tried to call my mom in the 301 area code, I dialed 310. I had a nice conversation with a Canadian lady instead. That was when long-distance was expensive. We must have chatted for 5 minutes or so.

Seems like it was the early 80's. I don't remember having to throw the 1 in until sometime later, either... :ohwell:

Everyone was so excited when it was announced that a McDonald's was going to be built. If only we all knew how much their service would suck (slooowwwww). :duh:

I remember the excitement of holiday specials coming on TV and the time every year when they would show The Wizard of Oz, we would make popcorn on the stove (Jiffy Pop) not so special anymore now that you can put the DVD in anytime you want
