I made some a few months back after seeing Tyler Florence make it on his show ... it was :yum: nothing like good Irish comfort food

Just don't make the mistake of going to Evan's Seafood in Piney Point!! I ate there Saturday night and had the WORST crabs I have ever had!!! No flavor and were cooked so long that all there was inside the crab was water!!!:barf: :barf: :barf: :boo:

eh... an $18 dinner should be way better than what i got there.

My roommate is a huge fan of sushi and he didn't really care for the sushi there either - not that he wouldn't eat it again. I don't like sushi, so i just got some steak and chicken plate, and all i went away with was a few less eyebrow hairs and gnawing hunger. There wasn't enough food to fill me, but i'm a huge eater so ymmv.

i like pizza hut and i went to nicoletti's the other day and liked it fairly well. It's better than garbage like domino's and papa john's or most other delivery places.

where can one get really thick piece around here (sicilian?) ?

If you want to share your table and food with them, knock yourself out.

hey roses, there is not one restaraunt anywhere that does not have cockroaches

I worked @ the walmart snack bar about 5 years ago, when it was still the Radio Grill (Not Mcdonalds). We never had a problem with Roaches, but we had flies somethin awful! We tried everything short of swatting them to get rid of them but it was pretty impossible because fo the weather and being so close to the doors. We tried fly sticky traps in the back and in hidden areas of the counter, we cleaned everything and made sure there was nothing for them to eat, we cleaned under shelves everywhere. Nothing worked. We did as much as we could to control them though.

But I agree that there is some form of critter in every restaurant. Places should do better job of controlling it so that they arent seen by the public.

Speaking of swattin' flies. The Hong Kong Restaurant by the foodlion swats flies. I got off work one day and wanted Chinese so I went there, I made my order and luckily hadnt paid yet. Sat down to wait and the guy behind the counter started swatting flies above the counters!!! :barf: I told him my wallet was in the car and I had to run out and get it really quick. I went out of there so fast and havent ordered since.

NEW RESTAURANT!

The guy from Leone's ran out of town and the old chef from Oakwood Lodge is taking the place over!

His name is Rick and he's from a real Italian family...his Italian food is awesome...I heard they're trying to open some time in Sept.
