Mask mandates are quickly being lifted, people are going to be allowed to live life a bit more like it was in 2019, no one wants to mess that up. I predict a status quo election baring some new variant.

I predict the Democrat party is finished.
If the Dems loose in Nov, does Nancy still run for minority leader and if so does their rank and file say enough. And if she goes, they aren't keeping Steny around.

Our whole government is corrupt, from local health depts to the POTUS and everything in between. Our news media is corrupt, our freaking tech companies are corrupt, as our our entertainment industries.
We are to the point that former icons for freedom are now calling for censorship. If Woody Guthrie were still alive he'd be demanding everyone get off his lawn. Each generation has had a voice for rebellion, but not this one - Millennials on down are all about bowing down to big government, when they're not cheering on looters and murderers. College students (!) are demanding the FBI do something about all this freedom that's giving them the itchies. Now freaking old people like me are the rebels fighting the power.
It's crazy and the sooner it burns to the ground, the sooner we can start building it back.
Maybe Musk will take volunteers for his Mars colony. There's no intelligent life on this planet.
I'm hoping to see a major realignment of the parties over the next 20 years. With the "enthusiasm" in both parties moving away from the center, at some point the moderates of each party will find common ground, coalesce around a platform, and create a third centrist party.

That would certainly be a good move. The extremists on the left and the extremists on the right are the ones who are trying to destroy our country. Time and time again, it’s been proven that the answers, the solutions, and the truth are somewhere in the middle.

What portions and activities of the right do you consider extreme?
I can name the people and actions/postions of the left that I feel are off the rails, embrace of socialism, censorship, destruction of the fossil energy sector, rediculous green mandates for cars, defund the police, Burn Loot Murder Incorporated...
I'm curious who you think are the extremists on the right. I promise I won't argue with you, I'm genuinely curious.

Some examples are: Ted Cruz, the My Pillow guy, Rudy Giuliani, Margorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Tucker Carlson, the individuals who attacked the capital, and Trump.
So anyone you disagree with?
Personalities you don't like is how you define extremists positions?
What specific legislation or executive order did Trump enact, sign or sponsor that you feel is extreme?

What legislation did Tucker Carlson or the My Pillow guy sponsor or enact?
Out of that lot, the capital rioters are the only thing I can see that might apply but I don't remember you railing against the burning, looting, attacks or murders of Antifa or BLM inc. so are only "NON-Leftists" extremists?
