Just outta curiosity.. According to CalvertNet (whatever), the schools are only on delay - two hours. Last update was at 9.40ish...

I post this to inform and maybe find out if anyone else knows anything. I have family here with children in school in Calvert.

TIA

Sorry, I know Pete lives in St. Mary's and my post was directed at him. Our schools are closed tomorrow; yours are on a 2 hour delay thus far. There's a thread in Life in SOMD regarding school delays/cancellations.

Main roads are clear, today was my first time out. My side road is a mess and while most of the base seems okay, there are some icy spots and steps are a solid sheet of ice.

Mine too, I just skated my way out.
My street was slick as baby snot at 4:30 this morning. Thank goodness the hill at the entrance was plowed or whatever to bare pavement, or we would all slide across Rt. 6 into the pinetrees across the street. Everywhere else was clear.

The road that runs in front of my place isn't too bad but when I took the little ones to daycare in Hickory Hills, that was nothing but one big sheet of ice!!!!!
