Say a prayer for hubby

They sent me home to think about a feeding tube directly to the stomach (he has an intranasal and they said he will aspirate as he has no swallow reflex) and they are wanting to move his vent to a trake..(track) he can not breath on his own yet... uggg...so they are talking long term..they said this is a marathon not a race..

I wish there was some way I could help - a lot of us do. Still praying for you and your hubby. They might be talking long term, but coma patients can sometimes surprise everybody.

Thanks...I really don't have a good feeling about this...He is not doing well at all...they did the chest tube but have not done the trache or the feeding tube yet due to his fever..
