School Clothes

Aeropostale, as mentioned before, has an incredible sales rack. I got very nice looking collared short sleeve 3 button shirts for $7, and you can get some nice long sleeve shirts for about $12 on the sale rack.

Hollister and American Eagle are about the same in prices, and the sale racks there tend to stay under $20. Dont even bother with A&F. $70 for a shirt, no thanks. The other ones are do-able, for a lot cheaper than you think.

Of course, you could always scout out a goodwill and buy him all his name brand clothes for 50 cents a pop, go home wash it and tell him you bought it from the store. Like hed ever know the difference...

He is a good kid. He is a well manner child very lovable. I know he wants to look good for school. I am sure if I don't get him the clothes from A&F my mom would.. She did this to me last year. He wanted Etnies shoes and I said no. What did my mom do buy them for him.. After I told her no as well.
I would tell my mom if she cannot be respectful of my decisions she can butt the hell out totally, then I would mail her the shoes in a box and tell her have fun wearing them.

OMG!!! What pattern? You really think I am spending that amount on my kid you are nuts . Please, please reference back to me where I said I was going to buy my son those expensive clothing! Wait you can't! All I said is that he wants them. WHY? Because he is a preteen that wants what his friends is wearing.
Good God talk about twisting around what others say.. You are good at that, aren't you?

By the way my post are perfectly readable. You just can't comprehend.

OMG, My mom would die if I were to do that.. I think I will have to put my foot down with her next time around or else he won't learn that you don't get everything you want.

I've always bought my daughter clothes throughout the year. Her tastes change, she grows out of things, and I'm not spending a lot of money at one time. I think she prefers to get a new shirt or outfit every few weeks vice "here's some money for the entire school year."

We do the same thing...on an as needed basis.

Same here. Especially pants, she ALWAYS grows out of them (length) mid way through school.

I'm having a very difficult time finding jeans for girl this year. She has long, long legs, so everything she tries on is short. If she goes up a size, they're too big in the waist. :ohwell:

We have the exact same problem. Let me know where you find stuff that works.

What size does she wear? My daughter has very long legs and a tiny waist. The jeans at 579 fit the best.

Old Navy, and some jeans at pac sun make their jeans in short, average and long. So possibly long would fit her.

Most jeans are sold that way nowadays, but I'm thinking Chasey's girl is still in elementary school.

Up until this year I bought all her jeans from Old Navy. Now they don't even fit her.
