Loper - Awesome pictures, I need to get you to my place to get all the rest that need new pictures! You and your "backup squeaker guy" are awesome getting the dogs to pay attention!

Okay - puppy - Maggie (named after one of our "young" volunteers)

Remy - has great leash manners when we aren't in public in public when he decides he wants to go somewhere, well, without the prong on, you better hope you have on roller skates. I'm sure with more practice he would get better. His owner never walked him except to go to the vets office and I live in the country so he doesn't get alot of practice. DeeDee, Patches and Maggie are what I call Remy's crew, the 4 of them monkey around here together all the time.

Capone did get adopted today to a family with 3 kids, there were two families from the Eastern Shore to see him.

Brownee got a great ap

Benjamin got a great ap

Buddy got a great ap :yahoo:

Tootsie has a wonderful lady looking at her and is going to talk to her husband

Parker has a lady very interested in him but first we have to schedule another visit to make sure her allergies are okay with him

Baxter great ap

I have to admit that we have some awesome dogs in foster care and our foster homes give them so much love and attention to try to get them ready for their forever homes! If you see one you want to meet please contact Mary at mary@secondhoperescue.org or an application.

We will be back at Peppers this coming Sunday the 22nd as well, from 12-3

Do you ever get any little teensy poodle like dogs that need fostering for a short time?

YES - the more foster homes we have we can find the types and size of dogs that will fit into your home, this helps us save MORE dogs, so please if you are interested in fostering, PLEASE contact Mary.

If you want to volunteer to help at events like the one's at Peppers we always need dog handlers as well, that helps all the dogs get seen and not have to stay in a crate waiting for their turn in the spotlight. Again, we will pair the type of dog to the right handler.

Myself and Mrs. Bonehead came. Bless you all for your work with these animals !

You should have introduced yourself, a number of us have "forum" names!

Softball..... If you hadn't decided to add to your family you wouldn't be missing us.... I can't wait to get you back into the action!

Time for me to go to bed, been a looong day!

If everything works out, Baxter might be in his new home by this evening.:yay:

That would be so great. That home sounds perfect for him.
Darla is a little love bug...she would be an excellent companion to someone looking for a lap dog. I love the candid pic that Loper took of her. Those eyes.....

R.I.P. Bobo, We miss you!
I hear ya!!! I had to bring the better half to make sure I didn't "accidentally" load up a few myself!

Although, I could see Buddy fitting in with your crew rather nicely!

There was a young lady that was also taking pictures. She kept telling me she has a friend that is a boxer fanatic and took lots of pictures of PC to show her friend. She said she would be in contact with us. Mary if this transpires, I can go do the home visit/research.
