Well PC is lying at my feet along with my other two bad toddlers. Doctors appt. didn't go well today. Blown out knee and hip. He's on meds and sleeping right now. :ugh!

He is skin and bones..you should see him. Easily down 30 pounds from when I last saw him.

BTW he's gained 6 pnds from his last visit. They couldn't believe how good he looked. I'm like your joking right? They said you should of seen him when they brought him in.

Just had another call for Baxter. Not sure who told this lady about him but she may be willing to give him a try. It was somebody who saw him this past Sunday. Who ever that was, MANY THANKS!!

Is there any way you can wait until the weekend for the transfer? You know...take him there for a little while..give him treats..take him out of the house. Then take him back..repeat a few times. Then actually leave him for a bit..and so on.

Will have have a doggie sibling at this house?

She said her current dog came from Second Hope and that Baxter was her twin. She's going to show his pictures (Thanks Loper) to the hubby and see what happends. I told her about his separation issue and his crate adventures but she seemed open to at least trying. Definitely would wait until the weekend or when ever they have enough time to let him wine/settel in to routine.

She called the store this morning -frantic- to find him!! Gosh, hope this works out!

Hubby and I had an older gentleman stop suddenly in the parking lot and ask about the dogs. He said he had just lost his "Sasha" of 15 years a couple months ago and one of the dogs "looked" just like his "Sasha" but he had to go home first and talk to the Misses. "cause she wasn't a dog person" His words! We pointed him in the right direction of who to talk to, but I don't know for sure if he got there.

It was a good day. My "little boy" is in love with Chief and Nyla. There were some really nice dogs there today.

I dropped off a application tonight to a family. We are going to meet tomorrow so they can meet Chief. They have a 1 yr old female pit. Should be a good match.


Nyla is a love. I hadn't seen her in a while. Looks like she got bigger and longer.

My pups are chewing on the presents you gave me! It's the first time they have had them. Hubby cut them in half with bolt cutters.

Well two finished their halves and the other two gave up chewing. The Border and the Catahoula finished theirs! The border got up mid chewing to get a drink and the Flat Coat got up and stole his. She had already given up on hers and his was nice and slobbery! So I had to retrieve the chew from the retriever and give it back to the border.
