I wasn't going that far. Said it was a half hearted joke. Didn't really "search" was looking at the other girls on his page and the pages of his friends.

He's 18 and you're STILL not reconciled to the fact that his brain is still fusing and he's going to be a moron on occasion????? Shoot, we're on Moron #3, with Moron #4 coming up the pike, and while we're still disappointed when they do dumb things, they have lost the power to shock us. It's a form of combat fatigue.

Oh and this "moron" stage has come completely out of the blue! If he had given me a few along the way to get used to the idea of being a moron, I could deal but he has been the model kid....until NOW!

I did tell him that I truthfully believe he is borderline retarded and should not leave the house without a helmet!

Well, you won't be because, again, I'm on #3 with #4 hot on her heels. :lol:

Maybe it was different with your son, but mine started turning stupid when he was about 14, and got progressively stupider until about age 17, when he started regaining his brain slowly but surely.

And #2 watched all this and said, "Mommy, I will NEVER be like that and do dumb things!"

Then, when #2 was being like that and doing dumb things, #3 said, "I will NEVER be like that and do dumb things!"

Now that #3 is being like that and doing dumb things, #4 is saying......well, you get the picture.

You are a Star Wars fan right? Allow me to explain it this way, "Mom force" is like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars IV, which was actually the first one but I digress. "Poon force" is like Yoda. Even though Luke thought he was strong and he could lift his X-Wing thing out of the swamp, and fight with the little robot droid shooting lasers and stuff, he in no way compared to the power of Yoda Poon Force.

The moral of the story? Cocky and cool in no way trumps little and wrinkled.
