Anyway, Qpid hasn't done anything to be banned. She's been warned for minor infractions and needs to watch her language, that's about it.

q is annoying from the standpoint she will never actually engage in give and take. She's into drive bys, but someone else said that very often in makes for a nice thread starter.

Having said that the vulgarity used, and apparently being allowed, with creative spelling is now setting the precedent for what should be acceptable for all, which I think is counter to the changes SOMD has enacted over the years.

I agree. I don't hang out here much, so I haven't read all the stuff people are talking about. I generally ignore stupid people. And if bigotry were a banning offense, there wouldn't be many people here.

But I did find the posts Morgan quoted earlier in this thread offensive and worth banning. I didn't report them as such when I first saw them because Vrai had already seen them and responded to them and I didn't think she need them pointed out, but I was very surprised she let them stand.

The reason you got banned WAS NOT because you reported a post. I've asked repeatedly for people to not quote posts they know are going to be removed, saying I'll sit you out same as the person who originally said it. The reason I've said that is because it's a PITA to dig through a long thread and delete the quoted posts.
Unfortunately, I don't back this up with action - I tend to either whack the whole thread or move it to the private. David backed it up. :shrug:
And nobody has ever been banned for disagreeing with me. They've been banned for giving me #### when I'm in my Admin capacity, but not when I'm just participating in a thread. Ask Kizzy. Ask Crabcake. My rule of thumb is: would I sit this person out if they said the same thing to another forum member?

qpid is hit and run, not interested at all in backing up her point(s). If you were gonna do a lib mpd I'd expect you'd put up a hell of a fight.

I know you've mentioned that you didn't want people doing that, but it has been awhile and people don't read every post. Ignorance of the law is not admissable in court, so there, a rule and nobody can claim an injustice.
