SMOW or Snow for 1/6?

My snow blower only made slushies out of this mess, what a pain. Stuff sticks to a shovel pretty bad.
Got the snowthrower out yesterday, fired it up to be ready for today. Son went out a while ago and is shoveling rather than using the thrower. He seems to think it's easier to shovel than bring the thrower around front. DUH..it's self propelled and a piece of cake to bring it up to the driveway/walk way (only about 20 yards). I've been laid up or I would have done it. I just laffed and let him have his way.

My SO and I measured in multiple spots, front and back. After getting rain to compact the snow we measured 7 inches of snow in LP City. Now forecast for 1-3 more inches tonight, starting around 6 or 7 PM

I have 7" as well near Gate 1. Waiting to see what round two brings.

Friend is here now plowing my driveway and lane! :yahoo:
I'm doing mine in Increments. I should be dugout by Thursday.

We had about 5" with an ice layer, then another 2" to 2 1/2" on top of that. I'll say conservatively we got 7". ⛄

Yes, in a truck that doesn't do well on wet roads. Tried going to Dash In for more vape juice.
That's why my pickup stays parked for "weather events". Pickup beds are light and need to be loaded down for traction.

Kids will be kids is old saying for a reason. They have to learn. My father told me to get 3 friends to ride with me, gave me gas money, and sent me out to learn. That Opel Kadett was in/out of 3 ditches that day.

If that's a real photo and not photoshopped something went very, very wrong. I was in a couple derailments in my youth and they're not nearly as neat and tidy as that one appears to be.
I’m just guessing here, but I think there’s track laid in the highway. Based upon the crossing signal above the train engine.

25 hours behind the wheel of a snowplow yesterday. In bed just before midnight and alarm went off at 4:30 this morning. Sitting in line now waiting to get a load of salt. County roads icy but passable. 235 south of hermanville is all blacktop. From hermanville to rt4 there are some icy patches but overall good. I’m sure there is black ice this morning but I haven’t tested yet. Gonna be another long day.
