How do you like the T-Bird? Pics?

I love the T-bird. The retro styling is what caught my interest, but the interior is what sold me. Again, nice retro styles in the dash and door panels, all the controls are right at your fingertips, and the gauges are completely visible and very nostalgic. The ignition is in the dash - not the steering column.

It's got an in-dash, six disc CD changer. his/her climate control, heated seats, and more, and more. And the 3.9L V-8 is pretty peppy. Sorry, I did't mean for this to be a T-Bird ad, but man, this is the nicest car I've ever owned!

I don't have any pics yet, maybe tomorrow evening. But here's an image I borrowed from Ford (in the right color too).

Not an original...

Dustin, the Chevelle is a Super Sport clone, a Malibu with all the SS goodies.

Interior: black vinyl with bucket seats, console, and original console shifter. Reconditioned dash including speedo cluster and heater controls. includes aftermarket guages and tach. Very good condition.

Drive train: It's got a built 402ci, 400+ hp, bored .60 over, 1966 hi-performance rectangular port heads, 11:1 compression, torker single plane aluminum manifold, 750 holley, and Hedman ceramic headers, followed with a pair of flowmasters. Lot's of billet aluminum dress-up. also a remanufactured Turbo 350 tranny. Both of these were installed in early 2001. In fall 2003, rebuilt the 10-bolt rear - upgrading to Eaton posi with 3:73 gears.

Work I've done: replaced weatherstripping, door handles, drip rails, many interior parts, the engine, trans, rear work mentioned above. Added the ralley wheels/tires. Also the interior work, I have more chrome I haven't installed. Also have new rear springs, rear alumin trim pieces. I'm sure there is more. I have a drawer full of receipts.

I'm asking $14k for it, and I'm open to offers.

No, haven't got around to the discs yet. Still single master cylinder with drums all around. Stand on the brake pedal with both feet and pull on the steering wheel for additional leverage (joking). Agree, a disc conversion would be a big plus.

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
New Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer. I absolutely love it.

I can't wait for my first real Road Trip. And to go with the Explorer, and in keeping with my name, I picked up a book to accompany me and help plan my trip - "The Bad Girls Guide to the Open Road." Some sample topics in the book:

Recommended Road Tunes
Auto-erotic Secrets
The Truth About Cars and Men
Non-Gun Weapons You Already Own
Peeing Without Spashing or Flashing
14 Ways to Open a Beer Bottle with Your Car
Trucker Chic
11 Things That You Can Do With a PantyLiner.... with a Condom..... with a Squirt Gun.... With Duct Tape...... with a Nerf Football..... with toothpaste..... with a jump rope.

This is a great book for anyone looking for some interesting breaks from the highway on their next Road Trip.
