It was an unlocked gate as the community isn’t really private. The roads and sidewalks are publicly maintained and therefore there is a right of way.

You are A Liar or Misinformed either way you are incorrect

I'm surprised they let that mob of vermin get that close. That was not smart.

You can clearly see the gate has a lock and it is the entrance to their private property, not the street. It would be nice when idiots get their facts straight before they post crap like "It was an unlocked gate as the community isn’t really private. The roads and sidewalks are publicly maintained and therefore there is a right of way. "

Well, consider the source...just another MPD for one of our resident progbot trolls.

Your first article clearly says

The video shows them walk through an open and intact gate.

And then it goes on to say that the police are determining if the protestors were trespassing.

It is a private gate/street, but per this video it was opened and they walked through it. The gate doesn't look all bent to hell like it did in that picture, so I wonder if that happened afterward.

If it was unlocked why did they destroy it? Or are you talking out your ass again?

"I am alarmed at the events that occurred over the weekend, where peaceful protestors were met by guns and a violent assault. We must protect the right to peacefully protest, and any attempt to chill it through intimidation or threat of deadly force will not be tolerated. My office is currently working with the public and police to investigate these events. Make no mistake: we will not tolerate the use of force against those exercising their First Amendment rights, and will use the full power of Missouri law to hold people accountable."

Anyone who takes the side of the violent mob over this couple protecting their historic home needs to have their ass kicked.

Did CNN report the part where they threatened to kill the homeowners and their dog?

From the first article it states, "Portland Place is a private street" and also, the gate was CLOSED and clearly marked with no trespassing signs, so if it was unlocked, the trespassers have NO RIGHT to enter a closed gate.

Strictly speaking... They have no RIGHT to enter an OPEN gate on to private property either.

Did you watch the video or are you talking out your ass again

Yet the police haven’t charged anyone with trespassing despite the fact that the homeowners called 911. Hmmmm

You think the police are going to charge anyone of that gaggle? The gaggle that was being led by a state representative and whose behavior is being condoned by the circuit attorney? Besides the fact that it is being "investigated".
