Once again, we have a government bent on fabricating a crime where it never happened. We have a government who will ignore criminal activity while prosecuting law-abiding people who exercise their constitutional rights to keep and bear arms and self-defense. There is a special kind of evil that has infected our government and legal system.

It's called Progressivism/socialism/marxism/leftism.... i.e. Democrats.

Yes. But DA's office and operations are funded by their local/state government (taxes). There is no outside funding required. Was this Soros thing some sort of bribe?

Any large funding of a Democrat campaign is a bribe. Now the little guys who donate don't expect much in return, but when a multi-Billionaire Nazi like Soros donates he expects a lot==and he gets it.
You know when he donates to Democrat Attorney generals in States all over the country, that something is up.
Ordinary people without a criminal or Nazi agenda just don't do that.

Nine BLM Protesters In St. Louis McCloskey Case Cited For Trespassing

Fox News reports nine of the roughly 300 BLM activists who were captured on video protesting on a St. Louis couple’s property have been cited for trespassing. One of them tweeted her bemusement at being held accountable.

[poster gets wrecked in her twitter feed]

Ashe should look up Missouri’s castle law. It’s broad for property owners who feel threatened by anyone who is not legally on their property. None of the 300 or so protesters had the right to be on the McCloskeys’ property that day. They didn’t have the right to break the security gate leading into the neighborhood.
People do have the right, enshrined in the Second Amendment, to own firearms, and Missouri’s law recognizes the natural right of self-defense.
Missouri recognizes the “castle doctrine” and allows residents to use force against intruders, without the duty to retreat, based on the notion that your home is your “castle.” This legal doctrine assumes that if an invader disrupts the sanctity of your home, they intend to do you harm and therefore you should be able to repel their advances.

‘ABOLISH THE SUBURBS!’: Fringe Activist Screams At McCloskeys After They Made Cards Of Confrontation

“Abolish the suburbs!” the woman screamed at the couple. “You are terrorists! No mask! You think pointing guns at protesters is nice? It’s fun? You think you’re cool? Abolish the suburbs!”

“Abolish the suburbs!” the woman continued to scream. “Abolish the suburbs! F* you, and your guns! F* the [inaudible]! F* you! F* you!”

Mark McCloskey then got out of the Cadillac Escalade that he was driving and calmly approached the woman, who screamed at them, “Don’t come near me! Don’t come near me!”

Judge Disqualifies Attorney Prosecuting McCloskey: Has ‘Appearance’ It Was Done For Political Reasons

Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II’s order against Circuit Attorney Kimberly M. Gardner and her office cited “two fundraising emails that Gardner’s reelection campaign sent in response to political attacks before and after she charged Mark and Patricia McCloskey with felony gun crimes in July,” the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. “The judge’s order deals a political blow to Gardner, whose office has waged numerous legal challenges to defend her practices and reform-minded agenda during her first term.”

The Post-Dispatch noted that Clark’s order only applied to Mark McCloskey and bars her office from prosecuting the case. The order does not apply to Patricia McCloskey, whose case is assigned to Circuit Judge Michael Stelzer. The order states that the a new prosecutor has to be appointed to the case.

“This court does not seek to ‘interfere with the democratic process’ but strongly believes the present ‘circumstances’ justify disqualification,” Clark wrote. “Deference to precedent, acknowledging the will of the voters, and respecting separation of powers are all vital to a representative government, an equitable criminal justice system and the rule of law. Likewise, campaigning without tainting the right to a fair trial is equally compelling and constitutionally sacred.”

We can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that Ms. Gardner is not the brightest bulb in the room. Gardner sent out two fundraising emails mentioning the criticisms of her office made by President Donald Trump and Governor Mike Parson, saying they were “fighting for the two who pointed guns at citizens during the Black Lives Matter protests.”

How dumb was that? Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II said she “raised the appearance” that she “initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes” and promptly disqualified her.

St. Louis Post Dispatch:

“Like a needle pulling thread, she links the defendant and his conduct to her critics,” Clark wrote. “These emails are tailored to use the June 28 incident to solicit money by positioning her against defendant and her more vocal critics.”
The judge’s order deals a political blow to Gardner, whose office has waged numerous legal challenges to defend her practices and reform-minded agenda during her first term.
In a text message, Gardner’s spokeswoman Allison Hawk said the Circuit Attorney’s Office “will review the court order and determine our options.”
The McCloskeys’ lawyers had filed a motion earlier to have Gardner disqualified because it was painfully obvious she was using the incident to bolster her credentials as a liberal crusader. It should also be noted that nine protesters were charged with trespassing as a result of the incident. The charges were later dropped by Gardner.

St. Louis Prosecutor Fighting To Stay On McCloskey Case After Judge Booted Her For Appearing ‘Political’

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner has appealed a judge’s decision to dismiss her and her office from prosecuting the case of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, who were charged with gun crimes after threatening Black Lives Matter activists who broke into the couple’s gated community in June.

Last week, Gardner appealed the decision of Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II to remove her from the case over the “appearance of impropriety” raised after Gardner sent out fundraising emails that mentioned the McCloskey case, according to 5 On Your Side. Gardner argued that the judge’s ruling set “an extremely low standard” by which prosecutors could be removed from cases.

It would seem that this "ladies" insistence on being allowed to "persecute" (Yes persecute is the right word Prosecute sounds somewhat like it and has some relation to it, but indeed prosecute is not he proper term here ). is evidence of her racist and flagrant attempt to convict white people who were only trying to protect their lives and their property. A right any person in this country should have. She should be asking where were the police who have the real job of doing what these people had to do for themselves.
