Not rich here, but can do probably $1200-1300/month for mortgage since I already do $1130 for rent.

yes I have a realtor as I mentioned, its cool if you missed it, I got long winded, and im not gonna pound you for being human

I drive around daily (couple hours on the weekends), and just about everywhere looking for something decent thats not already under a contract. crossing my fingers now on this house. The person who has a contract on it never showed up to his (get this) last 3 settlement appointments, so im hoping he doesnt show up on this one, I find out today, and im his backup if he fails. its a great house, the picture doesnt do it justice

My schoolbus picked up in that area -- nice neighborhood!

Hi Lamini :howdy:

You should move to Lincoln, NE. My folks just bought their gorgeous 3 BR, 2 1/2 BA house in an exclusive lakefront neighborhood for.....$200,000. You can't even get a shack in St. Mary's for that, hardly. Granted, you're considered rich there if you make $50K household, but...hey

Or Western PA. Remember that huge victorian I posted a few days ago Vrai?

Im having a bit of a problem looking for a house, a place I would like to call home, at least for a while. If you asked me 6months ago if I would settle down here, I would have responded with a "hell no", but now that I got decent income, my opinion has changed a little (talking about just how bad this place is, is another subject). I've noticed the houses around here actually look like mobile homes, though the prices are astronomically increased. Most of the houses I see are rambler style (look like mobile homes), and a few "look" like regular houses, you know, the ones that dont look like a a trailer home without wheels. I have however found several houses I *would* buy, trust me I had to lower my quality levels by a HUGE margin. I just visited Tennessee before I moved here, where houses where grand (brand new) at $130k with .5 acres, vinyl sidings, 2 story 2+baths, that actually were READY to be sold, not some 1/2 arse jobs like Ive seen here. Ive seen some pretty bad, expensive homes recently, let me tell ya.
Heck with commenting on their bad grammar or spelling. The good thing about this "bad" place is that we have an open door policy. You can exit anytime you like. May I suggest "Great Mills Road" or just move to TN and commute. If that won't work I suggest you STFU and deal with our scummy little overpriced houses. Have a nice day. :loser:

I think it's cute too and a great house (assuming it's not a disaster inside) for the money.
I like how if it buys the house, we'll all know where it lives! :yay:

I have a house, but you don't want to know what I paid for it.

It would probably make me cry.

I keep trying to convince my parents to sell theirs now that they have an empty nest. 4bed, 2.5 bath on the south end of Waldorf that they paid $111k for.
