Larry Gude
Strung Out
Larry, I admire your tenacity...
It's fall and gets a little slow around here....
Larry, I admire your tenacity...
How do I? I start slowing down as traffic, or psycho bikers, ahead of me, warrant, even to the point of a full stop. Apparently, if I am in an RR and Asian, I don't slow down enough, bump a bike and all hell breaks loose. \
How do you do it?
“He was attempting to diffuse the situation,” lawyer Gloria Allred said of Edwin Mieses, 32, who she said may be paralyzed from the waist down “for the rest of his life.”
It just keeps getting better, seems one of the animals is an undercover NYPD cop.......who just stood by as his animal buddies pulled the guy from the RR and beat him, tells you what kind of cops they have up in NY.

And I just love this little nugget
Of course he was, he was just out for a nice Sunday drive not doing anything wrong........except he didn't even have a eff'ing license and was driving illegally.
“He didn’t want to blow his cover,” said the source — though the cop was not investigating the group of bikers.

You're seriously defending these guys? This was a gang that had no regard for any laws or the safety of others. They had an SUV surrounded, one guy stopped in the middle of the road right in front of him and then an army of thugs stopped right in front of him.
I would've done exactly what the driver of the SUV did - run over them to get out of a dangerous situation and called the cops.
And I doubt a gun would've helped him at all.
I don't see how the man could have slowed down and let the bikers pass - it does not look like they were going to let him. And, generally speaking, when people edit videos, there's usually something incriminating that they edit out.
Using Larry's logic - why didn't the bikers pull over and let the guy in the SUV with road rage pass. It's thugs like these bikers that give bikers, in general, a bad reputation... people with no regard for the law, people who have no regard for the safety of others and people who think the rest of the highway should yield to them.
Dude, he's not defending the bikers. Holy crap. Everyone would have done what the driver did - run them over to get out of that situation.
He's talking about what happened BEFORE the RR was in that situation.... In other words, why did the bikers swarm the RR? That's the part we don't know. Something happened to make all of the bikers focus on the RR....what was it? That's what we don't know, because (conveniently) there's no video of what led up to the bikers brake-checking the dude. You mean to tell me that 50+ riders with gopros all missed that part? Please. RR did something, and it attracted the attention of the bikers. THAT IN NO WAY DEFENDS THE BIKERS. IT JUST MEANS SOMETHING HAPPENED THAT TURNED THE GROUP RIDE INTO A GROUP HARASSMENT AND EVENTUAL BEATDOWN.
He was off duty.So what the heck was he there undercover for?
He was off duty.
But hey, better let a person get beat to death then blow his cover.
Well, conveniently, there is no video because it was probably even more incriminating. Those bikers were all over the road, acting like idiots, and not obeying traffic laws or 'lines' in the road. The RR had the right to be on the road. It is called mob mentality took over, and bad things happened. The bikers are just lucky that more were not injured. You get what you give.
RR did the right thing.
Saying that RR did something to provoke the bikers is pure speculation.Dude, he's not defending the bikers. Holy crap. Everyone would have done what the driver did - run them over to get out of that situation.

OMG, I just saw the attorney for the guy that got run over saying the guy was an innocent victim and was run over as he was trying to help the guy in the SUV. Are you kidding me?
Saying that RR did something to provoke the bikers is pure speculation.
Bottom line is, we are going by the facts presented, the bikers attacked the RR driver and that is nothing in the world to warrant that. The bikers are not LEO so no matter what he did the bikes did not have a right or justification for their actions.
And as far as the guy who got ran over, if he was an innocent by stander how did he get ran over. He had to be in front of the RR trying to block it in so his buddies can attack it, he placed him self in danger and paid the price. And, he did not have a license and has a rap sheet that is quite long, he placed himself in that position and is now crying about it.
With a rap sheet a mile long and never having a motorcycle, let along a drivers, license. They've been saying that for a while, trying to paint a picture of a real church-going, kitten-saving kind of guy.
Here's what they wanted to do.... here's last year's ride.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5znthlgp3Hw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
That's what they wanted to do. Not beat the crap out of someone.
Here's what I imagined happened.... one of two things.
1)RR dude was frustrated that they were blocking the streets, and decided he wasn't going to let them bully him into pulling off to the side. That's not very smart, street-wise. That pissed them off, and they targeted him. He defended himself the only way he could, and ran their asses over.
2) RR dude wasn't paying attention and wasn't moving out of the way. That pissed them off, and they targeted him. He defended himself the only way he could, and ran their asses over.
Neither of those scenarios defends the bikers. It just explains what we don't know.... which is why the bikers changed focus from a group ride to a group beatdown.
But what I get from this is that RR guy had no right to be there. Any day on any road, if you aren't going fast enough, people GO AROUND YOU. The RR was in the right lane, there were two other lanes for the bikes to go around him.
