Sorry I missed the ride, but this morning was just the wrong morning for me. Too much to do. I will make the next one.

No, just slabbed it for 700 or so miles or so in the heat. The BT-014 tire I have is soft and not a good hwy tire.

Might have to do some before I say goosbye to it though
are the cords showing yet?

I enjoyed the ride and meeting everyone. Don't tell anyone but I decided to go home and clean my bike a little instead of going for another ride. :lmao:

Glad I checked Panaera on the way home from the dump, nice seeing you guys. :howdy:
I cleaned my chain today and re-oiled it with this teflon stuff from DuPont, goes on wet and then drys leaving a teflon coating behind. Chain looks bright and clean, supposed to stay that way.

I always used that Bel-Ray white lube stuff cause then I could tell wear I sprayed and where I didn't.

I had been using Silkolene chain lube. The stuff is almost like glue so it stays on the chain. It also keeps all the sand and grit on the chain.

You could've stopped in to say hey. I am so offended.

I wish the harley riders had been a little more sociable though. They didn't talk much at Panera before we left, or at St. Georges Island where they huddled up by themselves before heading out on their own.

I thought that trike was pretty cool. After hearing the guy say they did the conversion themselves I wanted to hear more about it.

They were a bit standoffish weren't they? They are nice though, we know them. Oh well. I enjoyed it. My first group ride, unless you count 60 to 100 bikes racing through the desert.. :lmao:
