are the cords showing yet?LooseTooth said:No, just slabbed it for 700 or so miles or so in the heat. The BT-014 tire I have is soft and not a good hwy tire.
Might have to do some before I say goosbye to it though
Let us know when you decide to clean it a lotFoxhound said:I decided to go home and clean my bike a little
I always used that Bel-Ray white lube stuff cause then I could tell wear I sprayed and where I didn't.aps45819 said:Glad I checked Panaera on the way home from the dump, nice seeing you guys.
I cleaned my chain today and re-oiled it with this teflon stuff from DuPont, goes on wet and then drys leaving a teflon coating behind. Chain looks bright and clean, supposed to stay that way.
I had been using Silkolene chain lube. The stuff is almost like glue so it stays on the chain. It also keeps all the sand and grit on the chain.dustin said:I always used that Bel-Ray white lube stuff

I saw you guys returning to Panera's when we were heading to the dump. Stopped in on the way back, only 4 peeps still thereBS Gal said:Guess I missed you.
We went on home to do chores.....Nice, nice people though. Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and the ride.aps45819 said:I saw you guys returning to Panera's when we were heading to the dump. Stopped in on the way back, only 4 peeps still there

Lugnut said:I wish the harley riders had been a little more sociable though. They didn't talk much at Panera before we left, or at St. Georges Island where they huddled up by themselves before heading out on their own.
I thought that trike was pretty cool. After hearing the guy say they did the conversion themselves I wanted to hear more about it.
