bcp said:still no word back from the docs, and Im running out of my pills that keep me walking.
Im going to be stationary by monday if something does not happen soon..
bcp said:As I mentioned last week, my doctor discovered blood in my pee.
so, he had me get a CT Scan of the stomach area to find out why.
Seems that the scan came back and shows some spots on a kidney, and one on the liver.
so, I now am getting set up to go and get an MRI of the areas in question to determine what they are.
Seems as good a topic to take bets on as any, so I did up the poll to guess the outcome.
all in good fun mind you.
at this point I still have no answer, so now according to the doctor, they should have the results by monday, or they will call the MRI place to speed up the process.Dougstermd said:Dude this is not funny either.
GOOD LUCK
I hope everything comes back good.

as far as not funny, I know, Im really not laughing about it too much for real, but I have one of two choices, let it consume my every action until I know, or go on and just do what I do until I know for sure.
I refuse to spend too much time sulking or worrying about the results that could come back negative.
I will know the deal by tuesday I suppose.
Im hoping for cysts on the kidneys,
Im thinking that the heart meds Im on have done a job on the liver and I might have to change those drugs.
as far as the back pain, I think I did something to cause the area that I broke years ago to flair back up again. That is my major concern right now, the pain is going down my leg and leaving my foot numb and tingling, so I know that the is from pressure on the nerves.
until then, we go on joking about it.
Damn man, you are only seven years older than me! Don't let this crap stop you now!bcp said:at this point I still have no answer, so now according to the doctor, they should have the results by monday, or they will call the MRI place to speed up the process.

Dilaudid. Good Sh*t, but very addictive. My Mom's second husband got them by the hundreds.bcp said:by the way, what they gave me in the ER that night was something called Delata, or something like that, it is a synthetic heroin used to control pain..
umm,,, it works?
they shot me in the hip with it. I went from pain to feeling good and counting the holes in the drop ceiling over the bed in a matter of minutes.MMDad said:Dilaudid. Good Sh*t, but very addictive. My Mom's second husband got them by the hundreds.
I'm sorry about your pee.bcp said:results from the MRI partially came back.
I just got back from my doctors office.
It seems that I have two cysts in my left kidney, according to the doctor this is nothing to worry about.
The spot on the liver was nothing more than a birth mark as the doctor put it. Could have been there my whole life and was just never photographed.
the back is a different story.
I have some loss of muscle function in my left leg, and loss of strength. The reflexes are almost non existent on that leg suggesting that there is some nerve damage. I have once again been referred back to the surgeon for further evaluation and possible surgical correction.
the doctor also made me pee in the cup again, and there is more blood in the urine this time than there was the last, so I have been referred to a urologist (sp) to figure out where this is coming from.
other than that? looks like I might be around for a long time to continue irritating all you good people to the best of my abilities.
oh, and he upped the narcotics by almost double to take care of the pain.
feeling good in Dville.

Perhaps his birthmark is more like a mini work sign or warning label or street sign:morganj614 said:A birthmark on your liver? How interesting Is it in the shape of anything, like say the Eiffel Tower or skull and cross bones?
