Yep, that was parked in front of the vandalized Tesla. If you click through and watch the video the ******* approaches and writes, then you get the side camera view as they walk away.
You would think the idiots would realize that
a) Every Tesla in the country has had its Sentry Mode turned on by now, so your crime will be caught on video.
b) You will be caught and prosecuted.

I never click on Gurps Twitter reposting, he just posts too damn much stuff so he is kind of on a soft ignore just from the vast amount of stuff he posts.
I'm pretty sure somehow they think there is no consequences.
Also if even half of the people with destroyed Teslas buy another their actions increased Tesla sales.

Ok, so where do you go. You say the planet has limited resources. I agree. So where are we all going to go? All of us are going to Mars, which is significantly smaller than Earth?
I agree we should start towards the goal. But maybe that goal should be towards saving the planet we live on. Not what the green idiots want to do, but maybe some serious talk about what we can do without putting everyone in financial distress, but making some steps towards not dooming the species.
Assuming we can escape to Mars is a fantasy. I was a child when we walked on the moon. I heard all of the people say by the late 1970's we would have multiple moon bases. Then when I was a teenager, the Apollo project had been long cancelled. Nobody ever walked on the moon again and those bases were just SCI-FI dreams. That's what Mars is.
In the age of robotics and drones there is no reason for anyone to set foot on Mars. Those things did not exist in 1969 when man walked on the moon. Now they do. Manned missions to Mars make no sense when we can send robots and drones to do more than a man can do.
If Elon wants to go to Mars and wants to fund it with his money, no problem. Go for it. Just don't use my tax money to do so. He is into cutting the federal budget to the bone. No problem, but sorry no money to fund your SpaceX adventures. Pay for them yourself.

Who would be the Marxist then? For the record, I hate Russia and everything about it. The more destruction we do to their military the better. That includes the Marxists in Russia.

The people who are firebombing Tesla dealers and vandalizing Tesla cars should be arrested, charged and jailed. If you want to protest and boycott Tesla dealers, do so within the law. This crap needs to stop. People should not feel on edge simply because they have a car from a person who is now a hated figure. Some common sense needs to take place here.

It seems you have a basic misunderstanding of what the "plan" is. And I put that in quotes because while most folks who think about this stuff have the same general ideas on it, there's nothing written down.
Nobody thinks we are evacuating the planet. Humanity isn't all going to live on Mars. Earth has two big problems. Too many people and too few easily attainable resources. Too many people can be solved by cutting back on birth rate. At least in the places where people are starving. Resources can and should be recycled and used wisely. But there are lots of resources out there in the solar system.
The push into space is to gain access to those resources. Which will spark innovation. And also allow human civilization to expand as it must. Which will remove the risk of the single extinction event wiping us out.
What Musk is using tax money for is not Mars. The US govt isn't funding Starship for that. It's funding it for lunar exploration and to place Starshield sats.
If you think the Moon isn't important, understand the Chinese do. And space is the ultimate high ground. You do not want to be the one who doesn't have a Moon base. It's like being the country with no Navy or Air Force.
