Pixie says that dogs don't just bite "out of the blue". She says it's the little kid's fault for living in the dog's house and not sitting completely still when the doggie doesn't want any noise or motion.

Troublemaker!!! I always recall Pixie being among the first to say that if a dog is a biter, it gets shown the door.

Well, then I guess my son was at fault. He was on the floor ...in the dog's space. If you read about Jack Russells and Maltese, they don't like their space invaded.

I had a Jack bite me on the lip a few years ago, for just stooping down to pet it. It ripped my lip although the dog's lip was fine. Dog bit several people that same day, one being a toddler. The dog was in my brother's yard..it was his neighbor's dog and the neighbor was a guest at a cookout.

Hey, asshat - if we visited there on a regular basis I would explore other options. I don't think I'll be driving 1000 miles roundtrip on a daily basis.

Not really. Rather than surrenduring the dog to the SPCA, I wanted to know if this unprovoked action could possibly have anything to do with the dog not being spayed.
