The dog bit a child and there is a question as to if you should keep the dog? UFB, I'm surprised that the dog is still alive.

Hubby just called to inform me that our dog, jack/maltese mix, just bit our daughter in the face. He's said the dog's gotta go! The pup is a little over a year old and she's never done anything like this before. Do you suppose it could be due to the fact that she's not been spayed yet?

I hate to call it quits b/c my daughter loves this dog to death. Hubby told me that daughter did nothing to cause it...she was just trying to pet her and she snapped! I don't want to get rid of her. What should I do?

I know you may love this dog but I'm sure you love your daughter more. Try and find a good home for the dog.
