The Price of Gas

I was surprised by the price difference between Wawa in Prince Frederick at $3.35 and the Wawa in Dunkirk at $2.95 this morning. I stopped in Dunkirk and luckily they had the windshield cleaner bucket filled up and I could clean off my back windshields and windows. It seemed like no gas stations had full buckets lately.
I was also in WAWA on Tuesday. It cost me a $100.40 to fill up my Tundra. Meanwhile, I made my way to the Park and WAWA was $3.19. Normally, it's cheaper the further north you go.

I don't do my regular shopping at HT because it is pricier, but I do go there for things no one else carries.
...Near the holidays, specialty meats like pheasant.
Just came from HT. They had goose in the freezer case. I've always wanted to try goose, thought I'd get one for Christmas.

The cheapest one was over $100. For maybe 3-4 lbs. :yikes:

Ok, not doing goose this year. Or ever.

That’s much cheaper than buying a frozen goose from Giant…..says every hunter to their wife/significant other to justify their hobby….

I’m not a hunter but a farmer and I’ve had to explain lots of equipment purchases similar to this over the years.

They are doing it wrong, we used to go to the lake on the beach in the CRE coax one close grab one by the neck. No muss no fuss no cost either. Taste good too!

That's kind of like the guy who decides to go into the firewood business.

I used to cook goose breasts every year..but its been a while. Have a new offshore blind up in front of my place...hoping to get back to having goose on a more regular basis.
