I do take notice that, in America... if a Christian preaches exclusion and hate, that seems to be just fine. However, if a non-Christian does the same, everyone's ready to murder the guy.

I have never heard Jerry Fallwell say the word "hate". He says certain things are ungodly and wrong (and technically according the Bible that he preaches from, they are), but he doesn't preach "hate".

And those "non-Christians" you referred to are actively killing people, not simply talking.

Well, I'm not going to initiate an historical records sweep to see if he's said "hate" or not. However, you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that many (if not all) of his intolerant views were not fueled by hatred.

Which non-Christians are you talking about? Obviously...the Al-Qaedas and other franchises of Islamic terrorism are our active targets. That does not discount my claim...in America, if you're "Christian"...you can pretty much get away with anything you say. (Unless you're Mel Gibson... )

...if you read Osama's fatwah against us and any number of other radicals opinions of the 'Great Satan' they state in their own words it is our lack of faith and our free lifestyles that they fear are attacking their culture. They are fighting Hollywood a hell of a lot more than Falwell ever did.

Osama's fatwah does not justify the way that Falwell used 9/11. As I said earlier, it wasn't the message as much as the timing:

I cannot give him credit for using the pain of 9/11 for his own personal and political gain. He was completely justified to have his own opinion, and to eventually voice it, but less than 48 hours after it happened was just wrong.

The imams are only citing passages from their Bible. THEY aren't calling for the death of the infidel, their Bible does... they are following the word of God that is written in their Bible.
