I hate to say this but any decent brewpub I've ever been to does NOT serve pizza. If you want pizza and beer, go to Pizza Hut.

Carlos, you have your work cut out for you. I'll be there! :buddies:

Hey, I'm all for some pizza and beer. Pizza hut doesn't cut it. Just because it hasn't been done, doesn't mean Carlos can't pull it off. Bring on that pizza! :lmao:

There is always a first time for everything!!!
But unfortunately I'm not so original there are lots of great brewpubs that serve pizzas out there...
The oven is already in I wanted to upload some pictures but they are not small enough. I'll post them at the web site.

See you there!!!

ALL RUDDY!!!

Every morning I drive by I picture myself sitting at the bar drinking a nice micro brew and eating a slice.

Rumrnr

....where's the rum?
Hops

Yes!!!
We will have a separate event room for about 20 to 30 people.
Things are coming along very well. I'm setting up the brewery and buying HOPS since they are very difficult to find lately, and very expensive. They used to cost $5 per pound now $30 to $35 /lb...
Last week we received our pizza oven, it's absolutely great!!! We will by far have the best pizzas in town.
Please tell your friends about the "Duck". We have extended, until September 1st our free beer promotion. We have almost 1000 people registered on line and I would like to see another 1000 or more.

Carlos,
Are you using leaf hops or pelletized hops? Have you found a brewmaster yet? How many types of beer are you going to start with and what are they? Please make an IPA and British Style Ale! :buddies:

Hi!!!

Two weeks ago Michael and I were cooking home made chips for Ruddy Duck menu, they turned out great. Michael likes them with Old Bay I like them with minced garlic and parsley...
We will definitely have them in the menu.
Any other suggestions????

Cheers

Carlos

I haven't hired our brewmaster yet but I'm very close. My brewery consultant, Tim Yarrington from PA, brought me, a couple of weeks ago, a growler (2qts) of his Kolsch. I shared it with him and a few guests of the Hilton Garden Inn and it was amazing!!! The guys staying at the hotel wanted to buy more... Tim promised me to share the formulation and process conditions. It's going to be good!!!

Plus now you don't have to spend money in gas going to DC!!! and you'll be able to have your own growler/s.

Cheers

I've got 2 Ready to go! I've been using mine to carry beer from the house down to the beach! It will be nice to be able to get a micro in them again!

Hey Carlos,

Can I reserve or buy Mugs 7 and 8 Please!

Hi Rumrnr!!!

It's been very difficult to get Hops these days. I would have loved to have some fresh hops, may be next year... I got 200lbs of pretty good pellet British hops that are in the freezer right now, waiting for our first brews...
I'm anxious too.
I'll see you soon.

Have you ever had Clipper City's "Loose Cannon"

It would be great if you had something that was similar to that, that is one great beer. Plus 7+% alcohol.

Sounds Great! Love the leaf Goldings! I think they came from Kent in the UK.
Wild Goose used to use them in a hop percolator which was like a Huge coffee pot.....I cant describe the incredible aroma in there when the Goose was steeping......then it was pumped to the open fermenting tank, Good Times!

I'm really excited for you to get rolling!

Cheers!

Definitely need an IPA or imperial IPA. And on the growlers, Carlos will probably require we use the Ruddy Duck-provided (and hopefully "logo-ed") growlers.

Dec/Jan, eh? Well, I think we can wait, but we'll all be a bit thirstier.

Amen! Lets have a English Style IPA like Wild Goose made back in the old days on the Eastern Shore in Open Fermenters! As long as I'm wishing I want a Hefeweitzen just like Brooklyn Brewing Co. Makes....Unfiltered Draft Banana Syrup :buddies:
