To the jerk who blew their horn at me on RSR...

While I was stopped so a kid could get across the street and to school. Is their safety, education not important enough. Of course it's not because it's not your kid. I hope you don't have kids because they'll probably be taught to be as arrogant as you.

Should that kid not be allowed a chance to get to school. Should I have gone? I can alreadfy tell you if I had not stopped, nobody would've. Thus, he would have been late or worse.

Or perhaps your intentions were to have the kid run over... Either way, you need to get the #### off the road and go kill yourself so you don't put anyone else at risk.

Probably the same arsewipe that blew his horn at me for not barreling into the car in front of me that was turning the other day.

You could have caused an accident by stopping in the middle of the road. How many children did you put in danger that may have been pasengers in the cars behind you.

If the kid was late that is their fault for not leaving early enough. If the kid got hit it would be the parents fault for not teaching them to look both waays before crossing the street.

Pedestrians have the right of way. Plain and simple. I gave him an opening to cross - your suggesting I should have just kept going? How does that put others in danger? Guy behind me is going too fast to make a complete stop and wrecks? His own fault.

I had every right to stop espically for that reason.

And this would have been a crosswalk. He wasn't jaywalking. If anybody knows what I'm talking about, this would be the crosswalk between Gwynn Center and La Plata High School. GC has kids go to LPHS part of the day and kids are walking across to LP everyday.

Last time I was in traffic school, they told us Maryland has an "Implied Croswalk" law. If you're within 8 ft of an intersection or in a parking lot, it's the same as a marked crosswalk.

Not always. Even at a cross walk somone cant just run out in the middle of traffic causing a big accident.

If it was a crosswalk by a school I would have though there would be a light at the intersection. If there isn't a light there probably should be one.

If they step off the curb or are even on the curb facing the crosswalk, they have the right of way and you're required to yield (stop)

Nobody ran out into oncoming traffic. No wonder you have so much red karma :smack:

Yes they do have an implied crosswalk law. The padestrian has the rite of way only if they are in the intersection first. This doesn't mean that the padestrian can just walk out whenever they want and if a car hits them it is the drivers fault.

Hey, squirrell dick, he was at the crosswalk first. Proble, is, nobody has any cnsideration for the law and nobody was gonna stop. That was clear when assclown blew his horn at me and I'll tell you what I woulda like to have done with his horn...
