As tightly as you need. :huggy:

Tornado was spotted in Stafford County and the storm cell headed across the Potomac to Charles County. It will be in Indian Head in 5 minutes and head southeast through La Plata and Golden Beach. :frown:

What're the odds ... it going straight through the area the last (big) one went. :frown:

That is too weird. Just this evening while driving home from work I was thinking about that tornado (I drive right where it came through near Benedict). I was thinking this weird weather today was prime for a tornado. :jameo:

I hope my parents' house isn't demolished while they're up in DC at the hospital. Wouldn't that be the icing on the cake? :ohwell:

You know how they say animals have a sixth sense... Well my dog is freaking me out at the moment... She's sitting in the middle of the back yard just staring to the East... She never just sits in the middle of the back yard. SO, what are the rules to not dying from a tornado? Get in the tub with something over me or crack the windows or lay in a ditch or get in the car and outrun it... I don't remember what to do if I have to... :jameo:

I once said something to Dustin about getting in the doorframe when a tornado is coming. Apparantly that's for earthquakes, so I'm just as confused as you are. :killingme

While I don't wish harm on anyone, it might be nice to give certain parts of Waldorf a "facelift".

I can feel the burn coming on.

Interior closet and cover up with heavy blankets, comforters.

Bathtub if you don't have that with a mattress on top of you.

Forget the windows and get far away from them.

Well hubby, the doggies and I just came back up from the basement. I dont think it touched down in La Plata. And our handy dandy tornado siren, NEVER went off. So much for that helping warn us to get to shelter lol.
