i'm assuming it's going to be on the 31st because it's been on week nights before.JabbaJawz said:Is it going to be on the 31st this year, or Saturday?
Dymphna said:Halloween and the celebration there of is ALWAYS on the 31st, regardless of what day of the week it is. Some pansy-azz yuppie neighborhoods sometimes whine about their kids being up on a school night and don't want to let them go out and try to get everyone else to agree and do it on a different night, but the reality is those whiny-azz losers are just that and everyone goes out on the 31st anyway.
Hey Jabba, you gonna take that...Dymphna said:Some pansy-azz yuppie neighborhoods sometimes whine about their kids being up on a school night

The first year in our neighborhood, we went thru MAYBE a bag of candy, think we had only about 10 come to the door (I force the kids to take more than 1 piece of candy, handfulls are encouraged). Last year we went thru quite a bit more candy, maybe 50 trick or treaters. Hopefully this year we will get more.FairyChatMom said:We just recently moved to Helen Estates - the houses there seem to be spread out. Makes me wonder if anyone will be going door-to-door. I'll probably get a bag of candies just in case.
Same here. Show up on the 30th and you'll get a bag containing dinner leftovers (pre-chewed by the kids).SamSpade said:If some kid shows up at my door on a night that ain't Halloween, he ain't gettin' anything.
Geez, why not just have it NOW, while it's still warm?
