I'm stuck to the TV because I just know he's going to get nailed by something. My  side wants to see it.
I keep thinking of that Ron White joke, which still makes me laugh (especially the way he delivers it).

“He said that at 53 years of age he was in good enough physical condition to withstand the wind and the rain of a force 3 hurricane. But let me you tell you something here: it isn’t *that* the wind is blowing; it’s *what* the wind is blowing. If you get hit with a Volvo, it doesn’t matter how many sit-ups you did that morning!”

They locked him out of his hotel and they're taking refuge alongside a wall of the hotel. He literally cannot get inside. :yikes:
I heard him say that. :twitch: The things you do for a story. :lmao:

Let them drown........

But National Hurricane Center Director Max Mayfield warned that New Orleans would be pounded throughout the day and that Katrina's potential 15-foot storm surge, down from a feared 28 feet, was still substantial enough to cause extensive flooding. "I'm not doing too good right now," Chris Robinson said via cellphone from his home east of the city's downtown. "The water's rising pretty fast. I got a hammer and an ax and a crowbar, but I'm holding off on breaking through the roof until the last minute. Tell someone to come get me please. I want to live."

My nephew took an EMT job in southern Louisiana about a year ago... I'm sure we will be getting some very interesting stories coming from him in the next few weeks. The e-mail we got this a.m. said that they have all been evacuated to northern Louisiana and aren't allowed to return to service until the winds drop below 50 m.p.h.

... and the swamp snakes too...:shocking: One newsflash has stated that the N.O. police have already received over 100 calls from peeps saying they are trapped on their roof... I'm not sure what they expect the rescue people to do about it...I guess they are hoping the rescue teams will work on a "first called, first served" basis once the storm blows over, but I doubt that's how it will work. :ohwell:

Okay, so now he expects rescue workers to risk their lives because he was too stupid to get out when they called for evacuation? :dork:

My baby auntie just called and her parents got gone early yesterday, up to her brother's house in Monroe. So that's good news. But they're upset about what they'll find when they come back home. :ohwell:
