The U.S. Should Have No Part In Fomenting A War Of Attrition In Ukraine

American leaders need to reassess what role the United States should play in this new phase of the war — not what role the neoconservative consensus in Washington wants the United States and its European allies to play, but what would best serve American interests. That is, what would bring about an end to the war and a political settlement that gives Russia as little as possible and creates a lasting peace in the region.

Sadly, the Biden administration does not even seem to be thinking along these lines. Instead, the White House is entertaining the dangerous fantasy that a prolonged war of attrition, or a western-backed insurgency inside Ukraine, would be preferable to a negotiated political settlement.

Earlier this month the Washington Post reported the United States and our European allies “are planning how to help establish and support a government-in-exile, which could direct guerrilla operations against Russian occupiers.” Over the weekend, the New York Times reported the Biden administration “seeks to help Ukraine lock Russia in a quagmire.” Indeed, the sheer volume of weapons and military equipment the North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies are now sending into Ukraine might well sustain such a quagmire long after the conventional war grinds to a halt.

They believe the thief, (government), with a gun pointed at them, finger on the trigger demanding money, telling them that they are not being robbed, that instead, they are merely making a voluntary contribution to a fella that has politely asked for it. These people cower from the truth because they cannot believe they have been lied to for their entire lives. They just can't seem to reconcile that fact.

Below is an example of straight talk. Something our feckless "leaders" simply can't do.

“I would now like to say something very important for those who may be tempted to interfere in these developments from the outside. No matter who tries to stand in our way or all the more so create threats for our country and our people, they must know that Russia will respond immediately, and the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history. No matter how the events unfold, we are ready. All the necessary decisions in this regard have been taken. I hope that my words will be heard.” -Putin 2022.

I am all for just throwing all the truth out to the masses at once..but no, we can't, we have to do this painfully slow walk so people can better accept it. It has to be proven clearly and lawfully. I hate it, because people that are awake are having to suffer right along with the people that will never wake.

Remember when they were going to impeach Nixon?
Nixon was a boy scout compared to Biden

Ukraine was not a puppet of U.S. but of Joe Biden, and the Democrats.
And Joe Biden was a puppet of Obama---still is.

Hunter Biden helped secure funds for US biolab contractor in Ukraine: e-mails

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden DID help secure millions in funding for US contractor in Ukraine specializing in deadly pathogen research, laptop emails reveal, raising more questions about the disgraced son of then vice president

  • The Russian government held a press conference Thursday claiming that Hunter Biden helped finance a US military 'bioweapons' research program in Ukraine
  • However the allegations were branded a brazen propaganda ploy to justify president Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine and sow discord in the US
  • But emails and correspondence obtained by DailyMail.com from Hunter's abandoned laptop show the claims may well be true
  • The emails show Hunter helped secure millions of dollars of funding for Metabiota, a Department of Defense contractor specializing in research on pandemic-causing diseases
  • He also introduced Metabiota to an allegedly corrupt Ukrainian gas firm, Burisma, for a 'science project' involving high biosecurity level labs in Ukraine
  • The president's son and his colleagues invested $500,000 in Metabiota through their firm Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners
  • They raised several million dollars of funding for the company from investment giants including Goldman Sachs

I’ve Never Heard So Many Lies

Here’s the official U.S. narrative as echoed by the mainstream media: Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was unprovoked, Putin’s three-day blitzkrieg of Kyiv has failed, Russian forces are bogged down and valiant Ukrainian troops are putting up a powerful defense and regaining lost ground with the help of weapons from NATO.

In this version, President Zelenskyy is the new Churchill rallying patriots against an evil dictator. All of that is either entirely or mostly false.

Here’s the real story: Russia’s invasion is the end result of 14 years of provocation by the West, including repeated declarations that Ukraine will join NATO and a U.S.-backed coup d’état in 2014 that displaced a pro-Russian president.

[clip]

A full assault on Kyiv, if it ever comes, is last on the list. Ukraine may reoccupy a village here and there, but they’re losing ground in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Melitopol, Mariupol, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk and surrounding areas.

Moreover, Zelenskyy is no Churchill.

He’s succeeded in presenting himself as a strong wartime leader, standing up to the big, bad Putin. But in reality, he’s a corrupt oligarch with millions of dollars hidden offshore. His acting skills have enhanced his propaganda efforts, but it doesn’t take much training to see how phony he is.

Innocent civilians, including women and children, are dying under his failed leadership and inability to come to terms with Putin before the invasion began. In a nutshell, Zelenskyy bet on support from Biden and the West and lost.

This month will decide world politics for next 30+ years

Where are all the dead Russians?

Below is a video of Ukrainian (probably mostly of the Nazi-oriented Azov regiment) bodies stacked like firewood in Mariupol.

Sure, 10 or 15 bodies on video doesn’t prove anything, but where are Ukrainian videos of “bulk quantity” dead Russians? The biggest number of Russian corpses I’ve seen, was in a Ukrainian video of prisoners having been shot in a line, and more prisoners being walked up to the same spot to get shot. Aside from that, there’s been one Russian body here, one body there, and almost nothing at all (aside from the prisoner shootings) for the last few weeks.

We were told by our MSM and unnamed “Pentagon sources” even three weeks ago that 6000 or 10,000 or 15,000 Russians have been killed, so where are they, where is the proof?

To be clear, in the urban warfare of the Donbass, there are serious casualties on both sides, but since the Russian/Donetsk/Lugansk forces end up advancing, they own any given point within a few days, and the enemy is partly killed, partly taken prisoner, and partly driven back, and thus is in no position to report to command any credible figures even as to its own losses, let alone the other side’s.

As I have said many times, everything from the Ukrainian side is totally made up.

Kill Lists! Death Squads! Ain’t Freedom Grand?

After a month of war, the Washington Post finally woke up to the fact that Ukrainian military assets are oftentimes positioned inside residential neighborhoods. My goodness! Wait till they hear about the Kill Lists and the Death Squads.

By now, many hundreds of “politically unreliable” persons across the Ukraine have been detained, many of them disappeared with no communication and no trace; it is likely that many have been killed.

Among the more well-known detained are prominent human rights and Russian language rights activist (not the ice skater) Yelena Berezhnaia; socialist party leader Vassilii Volga; writer and journalist Dmitrii Zhangirov; writer, lyricist, and Orthodox activist Yan Taksiur; Odessa journalist Yurii Tkachev; and many others. These people and their peers are the intellectual nucleus of what’s left of independent, “pre-2014”, non-fascist public opinion in the Ukraine. All have been denied legal counsel. Volga was seriously injured during his arrest and denied medical treatment; Taksiur is said to be having heart trouble, is untreated, and is likely to die soon, if he hasn’t already.

Nonetheless, these are the LUCKY ones—they are fairly big names, and had the “good fortune” of being taken in by the Ukraine Security Service, not by amateur local thugs. It’s likely that many of the lesser-knowns and unknowns (including random citizens who were simply careless on social media) who were “taken in” and disappeared by local thugs have simply been killed, probably like the guy in the photo below.

Streets of Kyiv suburb ‘littered’ with bodies, 280 buried in mass grave

Almost 300 people were buried in a mass grave in Bucha, a commuter town northwest of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, its mayor said Saturday, after the Ukrainian army retook control of the key town from Russia only to find corpses strewn throughout the community.

“In Bucha, we have already buried 280 people in mass graves,” Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk told AFP by phone. He said the destroyed town’s streets are littered with corpses.

In one residential street, the bodies of at least 20 men in civilian clothes were found strewn over an area of several hundred yards.

Graphic videos and photos of that street and others in the community circulated online.

Were they civilians or militia style fighters :sshrug:

Gazprom Halts Gas Shipments To Europe Via Critical Pipeline

After European nations imported the most gas from Russian sources yesterday in months, scrambling to stock up on supplies as Russian President Vladimir Putin's deadline to either pay for gas in rubles (or be cut off) came and went, Russian gas giant Gazprom has officially halted all deliveries to Europe via the Yamal-Europe pipeline, a critical artery for European energy supplies.

Instead of flowing toward Germany and the EU, gas supplies on Friday and Saturday started flowing in the opposite direction, according to Gascade, the network operator.

The Barnes Brief: Sunday, April 3, 2022

2. Right on time, another false flag arrives in Ukraine War. This time, it's Russians leaving dead civilians along the streets tied up as they exited, with Ukraine claiming a genocide of conscriptable men took place in a suburb of Kiev Russian troops briefly entered and then left. The give-aways this was a false flag were apparent from the get go: a) cartoonish, comical, caricature of Russians; b) an event meant to trigger raw emotional responses only; and c)Russians have nothing to profit from the event, and their adversaries everything to profit. It didn't take long for folks to figure out the timelines were wrong (bodies found in public places only several days after Russia left), visual proof of anomalies (the dead wearing pro-Russia white armbands, not pro-Ukraine blue armbands), and then video evidence to emerge of Azov battalions in the area in the days before, boasting about killing civilians without blue armbands.

One would think with the millions of cell phones in Ukraine, at least some would be used by civilians to prove of such actions. Kinda like during our "peaceful protects" where everyone that had a chance, recorded anything they could and posted it for the world to see.

We Seriously Underestimated Russia; Our Own Propaganda is Killing Us

Remember when American analysts painted a very specific picture of the Russian armed forces, and it was proven completely wrong? The media seems to have memory-holed literally everything we’ve said about Russia for the past eight years, but I remember.

The Russians (according to NATO) before Feb. 24:

-Capable of defensive and limited offensive operations

-Heavily dependent on railways

-Any large-scale offensive would need to be paused after three days due to logistical limitations.

-A hypothetical Russian invasion could be defeated by a combination of air power and guerrilla warfare.

Here’s a segment written by Alex Vershinin for War on the Rocks last November. This is the example I chose, and almost every other NATO analysis I read more or less matches up with this one – they were all based on the same wargames and studies by RAND.
