Wow I haven't had to use this in a while. Oh and I think you should take your own advice :imjustsayin:

I'm not telling anyone else to give it a rest or not to voice their opinion about the matter. My advice to anyone who doesn't like what others are saying is to not read it.

All of these people excusing this guy's behavior when this guy admitted guilt. If he was so right, why is he now a felon? He admitted he was wrong. I think he knows a little bit more about the situation than all of you.

Good lord, will you get over it? You're not going to convince anyone that this man didn't have a right to protect his property and safety.

The kid got what was coming to him, too bad the old dude didn't knock out a few more of the little punks, and it's a shame that people get punished at all for fending off predators.

:yeahthat:

Ok I understand now, I guess I will have to brush up on my ESP courses to determine what I like before I read it

Hey, you aren't supposed to ignite your husband, but I didn't fault Francine Hughes for setting the bed on fire with her husband in it.

The difference is....Francine Hughes is not a felon for her crimes, where Mr. Armiger admitted he was wrong to do what he did.

First degree assault. Not only convicted, but admitted fault. He plead guilty.

ANd how much jail time for this ATROCIOUS act.. this unjustified, inhumane act?

Is he going to the state lock up, or will he do his time at the county?

Yeah, a retired 67 year old felon.. Probably hurt his chances of getting that internship at Lockheed he was banking on..

If I knew who the "father" was, I'd give HIM some vigilante justice, just sayin'. If you can't raise them right, don't procreate.

Bullchit! You can defend yourself even when it isn't against the threat of death. When, however, you take a shotgun and shoot a kid who is running away from banging on your door, you will be a felon!

Hope you never get a job as a bouncer in this state.
Look up "Duty to Retreat".
This state didn't even have a "Castle Doctrine" until it was signed in to law very quietly last year.

Maryland Does infact have a Castle doctrine!

One of the final statements says:

"if theres an intruder in the yard or your Premises "Kill Them" with out warning is Justified. Heres the kicker! This cannont be done during day light. You must warn before you shoot!

MY interpretation is, during the day, walk where the intuder can see you pointing a "piece" at him.

If it's night time, all bets are off.
All the "intruder" would hear is, "FREEZE!" "BANG!"
Sufficent "warning", don't you think??
