It appears that the only way to mark a forum read is to go into the forum and click the Mark Read link at the top of the threads.
There probably isn't but I'll ask anyway: Is there any way to put an individual thread on ignore? I don't want to put an individual on ignore - just one thread they started that refuses to die.lol

It has definitely outgrown its usefulness and original purpose. I won't read it and it keeps popping up in my new posts feed. And thank you!

What makes some forum posts be be in bold font and others in bold font. In the past, once finished reading an entire post, when retuning to the forum sub-listing list within, say, "Life in Southern Maryland", the topic post was not bold to indicate it being read. If you returned later and someone added new post, it was in bold again to indicate. Now you have to click on every topic to find out if more posts have been added since a last visit. Can this be fixed?

I do like the fact that putting someone on Ignore DOES erase all trace of them from your feed.

Bold means unread posts/threads; not bold means you've read everything. It's kind of hosed up because it's new and the hamster doesn't know what you've read and what you haven't. To start fresh, go into each forum main category and mark it read (little box at the top right).

The old forum used to un-bold when you used the back button. This forum does not, but if you hit the page refresh, it will show the read items as un-bolded.
