Of course I got the guilty look and denial...then complete silence and a cute little guilty smirk. That was enough for me. I got my things and left.

So it looks like I'll be this Saturday night at my favorite watering hole in California....if anyone wants to get trashed.....

Im the same way, if I have to work the next day, I dont really let loose. When you do it right you need a day to recover.

Okay, you are totally not doing this right. You go get an enormous amount of whatever alcohol you like, then you get snot-slinging drunk and come on here to entert....um, share your feelings of sadness with us, your new friends who care. Then you call in sick to work the next day.

If you *really* loved her, you wouldn't be able to wait to drown your sorrows. You'd be in so much pain you'd have to do it immediately. So that's why she cheated on you - because you never really loved her.

I guess this proves that you can't trust anyone and if you are led to believe your relationship is monogamous, it may not be, so protect yourself.

The sad thing is that even WITH protection he could still have contracted something. So he'll still need to be tested a few times, over a period of time to be sure.

Just sad how some people risk their lives, and through deceit, risk the lives of others.

I'm sure some men will chime in to say that they DO feel that way when cheated on by a woman (that she's a ho). It's unfortunate that he ended up with a cheater, if he's NOT one, you know? People lie, so you never know who's who even if you ask - are you the cheatin' type? Of course not ..... are YOU? No, that's why I asked. A bunch of BS is what all that crap is (talk).

Sometimes it takes years to uncover a person's real identity/personality, and even then if you are not observant enough to SEE it, and smart enough to admit it to yourself that you've been had ..... then it can take MORE years before you see the light.

This type of thing happens ALL the time. The problem is that SHE should have told him that she was not wanting the relationship to continue. There may also have been signs that he missed? Who knows?

For me, that 'one day' was the day I discovered all my clothes in neat piles in my old guest house down the road a piece from where we lived. But hey..she threw several bags of groceries in to the deal....

I didn't have to guess though....

Oh, they were all clean, folded and organized in neat stacks.

The 'why' was easy. She wanted to stop sneaking around behind my back to see her bf's and take it out in the open. Pretty old story, that one.

An experience like that could have left me bitter and cynical.
