What's for dinner?

Just sneakin' around....
A new gas station opened up about a quarter mile down the road from us. Monello stopped in and got lunch, then came back and informed me they have the best fried chicken he ever ate. So when I got off work I hightailed it to the gas station for a 3-pc with mashed taters and mac/cheese.
The chicken was damn good, will likely be my new go-to. The taters were chunky like real spuds with surprisingly good gravy. I'm not a mac & cheese person so I had a bite and gave the rest to Monello.
It was good because the oil was fresh. Give it a few months....

Ok... when I can't properly pronounce half of what you just said, it's too foo foo for me.

Looks awesome, I just finished a 4lb low and slow meatloaf. Looks like the kid and I will be around for at least preview day at the sailboat show.
You still heading west in the near future?

EDIT, I hope the pic is large enough to see?
Picture was so large and realistic that it dripped all over my keyboard.

Yep..headed to Indy soon. I'll give ya fair warning.

Thanx for the reminder. Missed it past few years.

Haven't tried a meatloaf on the grill/smoker. Sounds good.

Got some "ground pork" to make meatloaf last week, looked a bit pale. It was nothing but fat. From 1lb of ground beef and 1 lb of "pork", I drained off over 2 cups of fat. Made 2 cakes of suet from it.
