Funny, but everyone associates eating lobster with summer. Truth is... they are far better in the winter. Lobsters molt in the summer, and the meat is a bit flaccid and hasn't filled into the new shell yet, kinda rubbery. In the winter, the claws are full, the meat is sweet, shells are rock hard.
I'm a bit spoiled with lobster, and most seafood tho. For years I'd go out and get my own, and cook it up on the boat within the hour.

Made chili in the crockpot on Sunday and baked some cornbread. We had leftovers Monday and Tuesday, Tonight doing a copy cat version of Alice Springs chicken.

Got a backup plan until new/repair?
My daughter is purchasing a new unit Friday and she's donating her old one. Where we'll eventually call home is probably going to be along the lines of Monello and Vrai's last place, so we're not going to make it a major investment.
Getting the units swapped out is going to be the real challenge. I've decided that my back isn't what it used to be and I'm not about to roll those dice unless absolutely necessary. Just clearing a path is going to be a major undertaking. We really need another space at the marketplace.

Really do appreciate the offer, but everything that will be lost, really should've been pitched a long time ago. Half the damned thing was full of chicken necks for crabbing. Did I tell you she likes fishing and crabbing? This romance keeps getting better and better.
I was just quietly waiting on the sidelines until her son was ready to leave the nest. I guess I wasn't really paying attention. We practically walked the same paths separately.
