I can't complain about the food. But I will repeat - the prices and food do not match the atmosphere. I guess the best example would be they have Island Hideway food & prices with Boomerangs or Ruddy Duck atmosphere/bar, if that makes sense. Given the choice I would prefer at this point to drive 30mins to Solomons vs 10mins to Pier450. Tonight could change my mind.

I had some fresh ground round in the fridge that I pattied up for the freezer. Pan fried one and topped it with a small salad.

I've been thinking about taking someone out to eat at Boomerangs and would like to know more about their atmosphere. It won't be an "intimate" dinner, but I'd like to know about the place before investing an evening and $$. I've been looking at their "hand cut steaks" and "scallops" sign for so long, I'm craving both. Right now she's down for the count, but she'll be ready for a good meal after she shakes the covid. We both like good food over ambiance, but I can use all the help I can get.

I always liked Boomerang's. The ribs and wings are really good and I like their little pubby atmosphere. But I know a couple of people who yack when Boomerang's is mentioned, so.... 🤷‍♀️

Oh, and last night I had a grilled chicken breast with half a baked potato, then we ventured out with the tourists for a Dole whip.

Boomerang's is in our top 10! Ribs are some of the best around. You you probably haven't been in since the remodel that was done 4-5 years ago - almost looks like one of those reality restaurant redo shows came in and fixed the joint up for them. Very nicely done.

@PrchJrkr I don't think you will be disappointed in Boomerangs. It's a great place to take a friend or a date - the bar side with a friend to have drinks and play keeno or the restaurant side for a bit quieter atmosphere for a date.

I've seen these memes online stating "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!"

Obviously these people have never had good cooking.

Bring me Chili, Nachos and Beer. Skinny can go #### itself.

Boomerangs food is OK. But if you are talking bad acoustics that place is like eating inside a 55 gallon drum with 55 other people gabbing away. I've never sat on the bar side.

I have been skinny, and I have tasted good food. It's clear which one I chose. :diva:

I don't know what to say :lol:

I've been eating the rainbow all week - purple grapes are addictive - so tonight I had a grilled ribeye with mushrooms sauteed in butter and garlic and that's all.
