Tried out La Vela Italian restaurant at Zahnisers in Solomons yesterday. Another nice option on Solomons Island. Everything fresh and hot on a slow December Sunday. We were there around 2:30, not crowded but still good service. Very good scallops, shrimp, and lump crabmeat with Fettucine.

I still have a ceramic Hardee's coffee cup from when we lived near Omaha, NE in the late 80's.

My son said La Vela was very good and he will be taking me soon. He's a good son.
