Yes and both of my parents came from humble beginnings and never forgot it.
I try to not waste anything.

Last night was waffles, eggs, and bacon. Tonight is Roy Roger's unless it starts snowing early and then it will be dinosaur chicken nuggets and rice.

Wife found Harris Teeter selling prime rib dinners. I was impressed with it, better than Lenny’s at their best. Came with roasted potatoes and steamed veggies. Only thing not up to par was the horseradish cream and who cares about that.

Last time I was there and staying in a hotel, that's what I lived on - HT prepped meals and hot bar. They were REALLY good. I was shocked.

Last night I made an Eye of the Round beef roast accompanied by baked potatoes and steamed green beans.
Tonight it was scallops al fredo over linguini.

The jam is made by Stonewall Kitchen. I found it at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville.
It’s also great on roasted/charred brussel sprouts.
