What's for dinner?

I made tot sliders. Fry thawed tots and flatten them; then make little burgers the size of the flattened tots. Top a tot with burger, add ketchup and mustard, top with another tot.

Kid food.

Tomato/onion/mozzarella salad, potato salad and a marinated seared skirt steak.

Thought if I cooked a summer meal, it might happen.

Dinner at La Vela tonight. Chicken Parmesan. I was a bit disappointed because I had veal masala on my brain, they don't have that on the menu. But the tiramisu was banging!

Did our taxes on Saturday so a frozen pizza was dinner. Sunday, drove to Bradfords and picked up a nice Filet Mignon, put that on grill, served with baked potato and salad. It was yummy

Sunday family gathering at my Aunt's house. Grilled BBQ chicken, potato salad, baked beans, grilled corn..I forget most of it. She sure can fill a table with food. I saved room in my belly for the strawberry shortcake and apple slab pie I made.

Plenty left for tonight.

I marinated some Bradford's country style ribs in McCormick Sweet and Smokey rub and cooked/smoked them on the Weber last night. I was pleasantly surprised with the results and have enough to rerun tonight.

Found a rib recipe I want to try, but it uses tamarind sauce which no one seems to have, so I ordered some. Won't be here until next week. So tonight will be grilled pork sausage on a bun.

I've got some of those in the oven right now! Baking with a dry rub on low, then will add bbq sauce and put them under the broiler or on the grill to crisp them up a bit.

Correct, no Amazon. No eBay. Ordered a combo pac of the Tropical Tamarid sauce and spice rub thru Walmart.
