Yeah, fair trade... :yay:

Although thousands of people have dug and sifted through the volcanic "kimberlite" soil, there are still plenty of diamonds waiting to be discovered. Since the park opened in 1972, more than 19,000 diamonds have been found, many of which are of gemstone quality. Tom Stolarz, the park's superintendent, says about two diamonds are found by visitors to the park each day. "Most of them are about the size of a match head or smaller, and people usually keep them for souvenirs," he adds.
What's wrong with that? It's fun and you get to keep a diamond if you find one. I think you can buy them from ones that have as well. Win win situation.

I never really received a bad gift, other than underwear one year....

But since everyone is talking diamonds, I got the wife a beautiful 1.1 ct fancy yellow diamond for Christmas one year.

A few years later, I took it back. And a divorce settlement on 23-December. That was the BEST Christmas present ever!! :dye:

now you know, legally you couldn't take back the diamond since you gave it to her as a gift. She threw it back at you and told you where to shove it, didn't she? :killingme

Fancy yellow is more expensive and less commonly available.

Naw, I just asked for it, she gave it back. Could have taken back all the Tanzenite I gave her too, she offered. I should have.

 I looked that up after I said it and never realized that there were fancy yellow diamonds. Learn something new every day I tell ya :nerd:

Ha! I thought you were joking. I almost left a comment but thought I would end up being that azz. I think J.Lo got a big yellow diamond once, it was all over the entertainment scene, thats the first I ever heard of them. People now get pink and blue diamonds.
