I remember April of 1968 very well. We weren't allowed out of our yard to play because Washington was in chaos, and we lived in one of it's suburbs. Burn, baby, burn! How's that for black history?

Nothing defines an American patriot more, than mutiny against his own government. Treason, anyone?

It was written into the US Constitution that we have the RIGHT to revolt against the tyranny of an overlord. THAT is exactly what the war of northern (federal) aggression was over. No treason there.

I love Prince.

I grew up on the music of Prince, so I've got a soft spot for him.

If you ever go to Minneapolis, make sure to catch a concert at First Ave. It's very very surreal to be standing at the upstairs bar area and to see the star painted for Purple Rain (every star that has performed there gets a silver star painted on the wall inside or outside the building with the date of their first performance there)... I was having flashbacks of the movie.
