Who wants a kitten?

If you are serious PM me and we can work together to get these kids homes. I have found working together we can do a lot.

Everyone please keep in mind this is my first kitten foster. I have worked with Poms and have that down and have contacts for help with them, but in cats/kittens it is another story, I am a little behind the curve, but I can learn.

Yes, this is true my dear. Much like a swarm of bees. Just 1 bee cannot possibly supply the hive with all it's needs but a swarm of bees can make it thrive.

"Feral Cat Places" are actually managed feral colonies. They can be as simple as the older gentlemen we helped last year who had a farm and he loves cats but had too many. We helped him get them all trapped, spayed and neutered and he continues to feed and care for them but they won't reproduce.

Most of the feral colonies are somewhat contained, they are fed, don't roam and cause problems and best of all they don't make more kittens.

And the cats aren't the victims of a hoarder where they are all kept inside in filthy conditions to breed over and over again. Or worse, die and nobody notices because there is just too many to keep track of.

Well I got help and my snag in getting them fixed has been smoothed out...Thanks ArkRescue....So at least you can be reassured these will not be breeding further. =) So far they are also clean, but if they keep sticking there heads in bowl as I am filling it, they may get dirty. :p One almost got food in the ear last night.

Neat, polite eaters they are not. They remind me of the velocoraptors in Jurrasic Park when they eat. Food all over their faces. Chomping off big bites. Gulping. But darn they're cute.

:drummer: Kittens are officially fully available. :drummer:

They have had shots Rabies and Feline Leukemia, tested for FeLv/FIV (negative), and one was spayed one was neutered. They are black and white super cute and have settled down with food. Cost for them is only what I had to pay Charles County Humane Society to do the work on them today. We have also played with them and socialized them to the two of us. As they feel better I will post pictures and see what they think of the dogs if they like, but I will not push them. If you are looking for a kitten these are ready to go and cheaper then you could do yourself. Just send me a PM for more info.

AWWWWWWWW how cute !!!!!!

I picked up a black and white kitten a while ago from a young couple that said it is a male and they named him Goliath. He was found outside in a bucket I was told. No clue where his siblings or Momma are. I'll be calling HS in the morning to get him on the schedule.

What's with all the black/white kittens these days? At least they are not all black - so they should be easier to place. Goliath was still hiding behind the litter box this morning when I left. I hope he eats and drinks today - poor thing is so scared ....

Just wanted everyone to know that these 2 have a new home together. They have been named Alex and Natasha. They are joining a couple other kitties and should be very happy with their wonderful staff. All cat people know we don't own cats we service them. :)

No doubt about that LOL - like LuLu who only comes SOMETIMES when I call her LOL.

Hey I put an ad on WTOP.com and also in the Pennysaver for Jerry. I am having such a hard time finding a placement for him. I know there's a perfect home for him out there somewhere. What makes it hard is he needs to be the only cat or there could be fights with other cats. Any other advertising ideas? I need him to move on so I can help more cats - 2 at a time seems to be my limit for fostering. I will miss him though, he's special as far as being macho and loving at the same time.
